Bananakeet ~ Pool, sleeps 4 with AC!

Listen to the songs of the bananakeets welcome you to this beautiful villa! This two bedroom, two and a half bathroom villa is nestled into the quiet hillside of Quacco and Zimmerman. Overlooking Johnson reef, the East End, and beyond the Caribbean Sea to the British Virgin Islands.

Easy access from the main road and a fully paved driveway with ample parking. Front porch with plenty of outdoor seating and a gas grill for dining al fresco. Enter into the spacious kitchen and living area with sliding glass doors all along the front wall; taking advantage of the expansive views and consistent trade wind breezes. AC installed in the main room as well just in case. In the kitchen you will find a stove cooktop, a large toaster oven and a microwave. A brand new oven was installed February 2026. Wireless internet, Roku streaming TV, and Bluetooth speaker available for your use.

Take the interior staircase down to the two equal sized, en suite bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has two twins that can be converted to a king upon request. Both bedrooms have AC and sliding glass doors leading out to the pool deck area.

Lush tropical gardens surround the private pool area. Relax and hear the waves from anywhere at the villa.

7 night minimum stay rule. Please inquire about children and for accurate rates and availability.

Power is provided to St. John via an underground cable from St. Thomas. Our power supply is not always reliable and power outages are not uncommon. They are typically short lived, but can last for a few hours. These outages can happen with or without warning from the island’s power company, known as WAPA. We will do our best to keep you comfortable and informed. Antares strives to make your villa stay as comfortable and trouble free as possible. Please understand that power outages are out of our control. Please note, water will not work during an outage. There are no refunds for power loss.

Clean, beautiful view

Chose this property due to coral bay location and pool! This property did not disappoint! The pool was perfect and refreshing for our family post hot beach days. AC worked great. Very clean and perfect for my husband, two teens and I. Location is not too far from Coral Bay shops and restaurants- north shore beaches were not very far either. Definitely need a car for this property

Bananakeet is Awesome!

This house was incredible. Great views, we enjoyed the more private side of the island. Perfect set up for a family of four. Everything was in great condition and worked perfectly. I highly recommend and would definitely return to St John and stay at Bananakeet.

Excellent stay on the quiet side of St. John! Wonderful location and very clean. Property manager was prompt and very responsive to any inquiries I had via email/text from the time of booking all the way through the checkout process. Highly recommend.

Bananakeet Did Not Disappoint

Enjoyed this property and will be back again. Loved the location - close enough to beaches and restaurants but far enough from everything. Very quiet and peaceful. Everyone with Antares was nice and helpful. They were responsive to any questions we had. Loved it!!!

Wonderful Week!

The house was exactly as advertised. The view is spectacular! We are Coral Bay people and loved the house’s proximity to Salt Pond Bay, the markets, Pizza Bar, Miss Lucy’s and the East End Beaches. The house was immaculate and very clean. The management team was top notch, but after check-in, we didn’t need them for anything. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful Stay!

My family (two adults and 8 year old) child stayed at the home for a week in March and found the property to be outstanding. The pictures do not do it justice, the home was recently renovated including new appliances/grill and really feels bigger due to its upside-down arrangement. While there is air conditioning we didn't need it as the breeze coming through from its water adjacent location was amazing, as was listening to the waves. It also also has unobstructed views of the east end of St John all the way to Tortola. The rental hosts were easy to coordinate with and we found their app to be helpful. The location was quiet, perfect if you are looking to get away from busy Cruz Bay. Its also a quick drive to two fairly well stocked markets and 3-4 restaurants, including Skinny Legs. About 15-20 min drive over the hill to the beaches. We will be back!

Beautiful quiet location

Bananakeet is especially perfect for people familiar with St. John. We go to get away from the hustle and Cruz Bay has become very busy for us during high season. We loved being able to relax far away from everything. Plenty of beautiful nights out on the deck watching the birds and iguanas. The kitchen is perfect—over 8 days we only ate two meals not at the house. Check in was amazing and even with the farther location we had WiFi and cell reception almost our whole stay for work calls and emails. The pool is a fantastic retreat after a Ram Head hike. Even if you get into town and want to buy groceries there, if you can hold off until you get into Coral Bay Calabash market is amazing and we got fresh bluefin tuna and the most amazing scallops for our last dinners. Overall it was truly excellent and would highly recommend this spot. Note: you do need a car to be able to get around. The location is wonderful but it is definitely a drive from the ferries and coral bay doesn’t have a lot of taxis.
