Welcome to Rio Rustic, your idyllic escape overlooking a tranquil creek in the heart of the countryside. Nestled between Hartford, TN, and Hot Springs, NC, ​approx. 70 feet of creekside bliss offers the perfect setting to relax, unwind, and immerse yourself in nature’s soothing embrace. Leave the city hustle behind ​and experience the tranquility of nature under the stars. There is no cell service in this area.

Your Cozy Creekside Haven
Scenic Creekside Location: Enjoy the serene sounds of flowing water and birdsong as you sip your morning coffee or unwind by the firepit in the evening. ​Our site is partially shaded, offering a perfect balance of sunlight and cool shade.

Spacious Accommodation: The site comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. If you need a tent, we offer a 14x9x7 tent for rent to make your stay even ​more comfortable.

We are Sherry and Jeff, and we hail from Indiana and Michigan, (Michiana), but left that frigid region in search of more comfortable winters. We're happy to say that we've found it here!

We may be a newly established campground, but we're certainly not new to the art of hospitality. Our journey began in 2013 when we worked for some of the leading OTA's, and progressed into managing properties for other owners. We have enjoyed hosting thousands of guests from all over the world.

We mostly like the quiet life, gardening, canning, raising chickens, bees and butterflies are a few things that we enjoy. It's a great way to stay active and commune with nature!

We are thrilled to have found this quiet little property in Del Rio on the Trail Fork Creek. Our campground features 4 different camping and glamping experiences, all located along the creek.

We are conveniently situated between Hartford and Hot Springs, (less than 30 min either way), we're the perfect spot for water enthusiasts! There are so many things to do near here, away from the crazy traffic and bustle of the big cities! We are still close enough to all of the attractions offered in Gatlinburg and

What makes Rio Rustic special is its easygoing, back-to-nature feel. It’s a place to spread out, listen to the creek, watch the fireflies come out, and enjoy the kind of simple mountain camping that helps you slow down and breathe a little deeper.
