The place was fantastic. Had everything we need for our 5 night stay. Very comfortable and close to everything we were visiting. Very well stocked. Comfortable beds. Host was very easy to contact and communicate with. Excellent instructions on how to find the place. If every in the area again would stay there.

The property was excellent! It is a newer duplex and everything was perfect. The owner thought of all your needs as far as in the kitchen and bathroom. She was also very responsive to any communication. You could even watch the prairie dogs from the front sitting area!!Annette

My wife and I stayed here with another couple for 7 days. I can't say enough about how friendly the owner was. She told us about the carnival, the town rodeo and the local restaurant. A hail storm came through and she texted me to let us know we could park our motorcycles in a covered area. So thoughtful! Everything we needed was there. The cabin was beautifully decorated and very cozy and Bridget took the time to label all the cabinets!We would definitely recommend!!

Exceptional stay

Beautiful place to stay, great location for Mt. Rushmore, Custer State, Park, Crazy Horse. Our family of 4 stayed here during our visit to SD, host had a warm welcome for us, would highly recommend.

Grandpa and Granddaughter had fun

Perfect Location

My parents and I had a wonderful stay. This house is perfectly located close to everything we planned to do from the Badlands to the Black Hills. Bridget was so easy to communicate with and all the details made the house a great place to relax. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay in Hermosa. The place was so clean and inviting. Our family of 5 were very comfortable here and the hosts are very welcoming to their guests. Black Hills attractions are easy to get to from here.

This was a great place to stay while we toured the area. Easy drive to Custer State Park. Living room, kitchen, and bathroom were very comfortable. The Queen bedroom’s bed was very comfortable. The second bed was very firm. Decorations were cute and cozy. We would definitely stay there again.

Family getaway

Black Hills Comfort

Our Black Hills vacation was all the better because of the great features of this rental. We appreciated the peace and quiet of Hermosa located close to all the points of interest that we visited.

Great property! Clean and just as advertised. Check in was easy and hosts very responsive. Very close to mount Rushmore, Custer state park and the Black Hills. Perfect location to be close to everything but go back to quiet area to rest. Highly recommend!

2025 Black Hills family vacation

Amazing place

This is the best vrbo place we have ever stayed at -so clean and organized. It has everything you would need. It was beautiful and and spacious. Bridget was super nice and communicative and thinks of everything yoy would need.

Homey comfort

We were there for 3 nights. It is a great location to visit all of the surrounding parks and monuments. The owners thought of everything to make to make our stay comfortable including fruit pops in the freezer!

Great Stay

This is one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. The place was clean, well-thought out, and had everything we needed. It is close to Custer and Keystone and an easy drive to the rest of the region. The Shorbs are great people and highly responsive. I highly recommend this VRBO. Don't forget to eat at Lintz Bros Pizza when in Hermosa!

Everything was clean and well organized. The rooms were spacious and well laid out. The remotes for the TV were underneath the TV in their homes. It was a pleasant place to stay. We will definitely consider it the next time we are staying in the Black Hills

Vacation with grandson!

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was above our expectations! The host was so kind and even had fruit snacks and fruit bars in the freezer for us. The kitchen had everything we could imagine in it. Best place we have ever rented!!

A place to unwind.

We live close to a big city and just needed a place to decompress and enjoy a view with no buildings or distractions. We loved the place and feel like we need another week to explore the area.
