We have been coming to the cottages for over 5 years, and we consider them our home away from home. The residence is clean, and the pool is also. It's close to the pier and restaurants. Thanks everyone for another great time!

Such a great little cottage. Perfect location - walking distance to the beach. It was a little smaller than expected but it had everything we could have wanted and is very thoughtfully done. Lots of little extras (snacks, toothbrushes, etc.) and was very clean and well taken care of. We did have an issue when we were there - a big storm caused an issue with the stove - no fault of the owners - but they worked with us to use a stove next door and refunded a bit to make up for it. These things happen but they handled it really well. The communication was excellent throughout. We look forward to returning in the future.

We enjoyed our stay and will keep it in mind for next time. It was within walking distance to a few places and the beach. Parking for the cottages was good too. We had a space right beside our cottage and there was a circle drive and two entrances. The pool was great and had plenty of chairs for people to sunbath or sit. We liked that it was pet friendly also. This is the first place we have stayed where we actually had enough towels for everyone to use (hand towels and wash cloths too). There were little touches that really made it feel like home and made our stay seamless. There was even a counter top ice machine. Coffee k-cups and cream and sugar, paper plates, toothbrushes, makeup remover cloth, chips, waters are just a few of the items that were available in our cottage when we arrived. There were lots of pillows and small blankets as well. The beds were comfortable and just what we needed for 5 guests. There were two box fans also. There was a power strip and extra trash bags under the sink. Check in was great, our code worked the first time we tried it and was easy to get in and out. I even heard another family having trouble with their lock and the worker on site immediately changed the battery to accommodate them. Everything was very well thought out and they seemed to have everything we needed. Communication was quick and efficient when we reached out. Definitely a great place to stay overall.

Paradise

Cottage was very neat and clean. Gave a warm and friendly atmosphere. Everything was within walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely book again!

Perfect

Perfect location and great place to stay. We spent 5 nights and the cottage was as advertised. It was our first trip to the area and we really enjoyed the proximity to the pool, ocean and dining. It seemed like we had the pool to ourselves. We will definitely be back!

Very Relaxing

First time at Kure Beach and it was very relaxing. Not loads of people like Myrtle Beach. But with that, there wasn't a lot to do other than the Pier and the beach. Luckily our cottage resort had a pool which was very nice! Check in was simple and the cottage itself was very nice and cozy, literally less than a two minute walk to the ocean. The best place we ate was Beach Burgers (highly recommend) and the worst place was Big Daddy's (huge disappointment).

Carolina Cottages at Kure is a great place to stay!

The property was clean and everything we needed. The pool was close to our cottage and the Kure pier was within a block. The ocean is directly across the street. Several restaurants within walking distance, too. We will be back another time! The host was also very helpful and very nice.

Cute cottages.

We have stayed in Kure a lot just never at this location. The pool was nice. The cottage was decently clean. Bathroom was small but that is to be expected in an early built structure. Would have liked access to local news channels. Not Apple TV or Roku. Bathroom could use more TLC. Will stay again. Easy walk to pier and beach.

Accurate listing would stay again

Great stay except for cold water for a 24 hours. They had turned it down when there was a storm and never turned it up until guests were complaining. Also they did get the property sprayed by pest control there were more than several large cockroaches we had to deal with.

A little miscommunication here- we didn’t turn it down- a storm came through and knocked the power out without our knowledge. When that happens the hot water tank automatically restarted on a lower setting and we weren’t aware, nothing intentional. And we have monthly pest sprays for all our properties, they are not scheduled around guests’ complaints 😉

Pack lightly for a nice, but very small, beach stay

We had a great stay at the condo but just want to post a few thoughts so future visitors go in with a bit clearer of a picture of where they're staying. The listing advertises it can fit six - during our stay we had four adults and one infant (15 months) and it was incredibly cramped. Unless two or three of the six are children, I simply don't see the condo fitting six. The living room is nice and clean, the kitchen space is clean but very small. I wouldn't pack any meals that aren't pre-assembled as there simply isn't really room to actually assemble a meal in the kitchen, that is separated from the couch in the living room by a foot or two. Also, there is a grill outside attached to the property - it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years and was, to my standards, unusable from a health standpoint. Similarly, they have an icemaker out on display for use on the kitchen counter, which would have been nice, except it was full of mold on the inside and, again, unusable IMO. I don't want to be too negative - we enjoyed our stay and it was a two minute walk to the beach - but I do feel like some of the listed amenities for the property were simply unusable and the accuracy of how much space you have seems a bit off. It's very tight quarters. Pack lightly, there are dressers in each room but they offer little space and there is even less space in the closets for hanging. We stayed a full week, so maybe for a weekend when you're packing more lightly, it would work better. 4/5.

Cute cottage for our family of 4 plus our pup. Short walk across the street to beach access was nice. Very convenient to walk to dinner or just stroll. We loved the snacks and pet towels provided. That was a nice extra touch. My only complaint was the grass around has sand spurs and got in our pup's pawpads, but we ended using the turf grass between the other cabins and it was fine. We'll be back.
