Really nice pool and hot tub. Comfortable house for socializing, and a great location to access all of Palm Springs. Bed was comfy. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Bathrooms were reasonably cleaned and updated.Host was extremely responsive and communicative. We had a few questions about the hot tub and they responded within moments. The checkout process was easy. I would stay here again.This place is near the airport so you will hear planes. I liked the plane spotting from the hot tub and slept fine with ear plugs. If you want absolute quiet this may not be the place for you. I will also note that this home is old and could use some fresh paint here and there. It was fine for our purposes but I did notice.Overall nice place, great value, really relaxing desert retreat

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. It is not like the pictures. It is old, dirty, stained. Its for sale and the owners don't seem to care about the condition. The kitchen and stove and appliances and barbecue were so old and stained that we never had a meal at the house. Also there is very weak water pressure in the master bathroom shower. Like a drip.The place smelled. It is managed by a company and they would not return our money. We wanted to leave the first day and move into a hotel.We had to stay because they wouldn't refund our money. I took lots of pictures and sent it to the management company but they still wouldn't do anything.

Palm Springs

I had to ask for the entry code for the front door and inquire about the function of the spa/hot tub; otherwise, everything was as advertised. The home was spacious for our four adults, and the location was perfect for our trips to the baseball field and downtown.

Nice stay in a nice location

We stayed in early February and had great weather. The accommodations were all as advertised. We can't comment on the Living room as far as comfort, since we only used the sunroom. Likewise, we didn't do any cooking so we can't comment on how useful the kitchen is. It did seem to have plenty of dinnerware and silverware, as well as glasses and cups. We spent all of our time while we were in the home, in the sunroom. Although the listing does not say it, we assumed the sunroom was fully screened, but that was not the case. It has doors on three sides, but only one of those had a screen, and that screen was damaged with large holes, so, you would not be able to use the screen to keep out bugs. We were fortunate due to the time of year that we could just leave the sliding door open. In addition the sliding door to the kitchen as well as the sliding door to the master bedroom were in a state of disrepair. They worked but were very difficult to open and close. the rest of the home was in good shape and we enjoyed our time there. It was very close to grocery store (walking distance) and about 10 minute drive to most restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful space

The house and property are beautiful and spacious. We loved this space. My kids especially loved the pool. We travelled in mid-November and opted to pay the additional fee to have the pool heated — it was well worth it and def. recommend if you travel in winter.

Renter beware!

This property is poorly maintained. The pictures don’t show how worn out and stained everything is. When I arrived the yard and pool had not been serviced. A very bad experience overall.

Overall, our stay was very good. Property was clean and comfortable. Communication with staff was excellent. Only issues were, fire pit was not available due to maintenance (a fire pit was one of our main features we searched for in selecting a vacation property) and there wasn’t a disclaimer on the booking site. TVs were also difficult to operate. Only the Roku tv in bedroom #1 was operational. But overall it was a great experience.

Palm Springs - Nicola Road

Nicola Road is an amazing mid-century modern home in Palm Springs. It is minutes away from the airport and downtown. We initially had some difficulty (previous tenants had disconnected multiple televisions in the home and a shower head needed tightening), but the local agency promptly sent Nick to the rescue. He quickly fixed everything. This is a very unique property, nicely furnished. It has an in-ground spa which feeds into the in-ground pool (the spa actually heats the pool over time). The pool and spa are salt water, which feels amazing on your skin. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. We hope to stay there again next year for our annual get together!

Great little place in Palm Springs

I stayed here with a few friends, we were in town for a baseball tournament. The house overall was great. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and even some coffee and filters and spices. We really liked the sun room where we were able to watch the NFL playoffs. We didn't use the pool (didn't want to pay extra charges for heating it) but the hot tub that was included worked really well to help relieve aching muscles. The place was very clean, plenty of linens, sheets and pillows. The master bedroom has a huge walk-in shower which was a new site for me. The only feedback I received was that in the hall shower, condensation would build in teh ceiling of the shower that then dripped down. Maybe the ceiling was too low. The only other thing was that the cable service only had three working channels. Luckily I had brought my Apple TV box that we used. Other than that our stay was great, highly recommend.

Nice place.

Very happy with this home. We needed inside space for a car and the garage was perfect. Check in was a little weird, we had to call the agency to get the code. After checking in we were supposed to have a video call, but I was alone on the line for 15 min before being disconnected. Nobody joined for a call the agency set up (and required?). The home is well equipped and close to everything I needed. Would stay here again, Palm Springs is a great town.

Nice enough, but a couple of problems.

I rented this property mostly for the outdoor space; spa, pool, fire pit, etc. House is nice enough. Nothing special about it. Basic furnishings. Kitchen stocked with basic needs. Once again: nothing special. Curtains in the bedroom were closed using binder clips. Just all pretty meh. The most annoying part was the outdoor space was not ready for us when we arrived. The rental company has a $75 a day pool fee to use heat in the pool and spa. But they didn't turn it on the to warm up before we got there, so we arrive to a pool/spa that were 58º. VERY COLD. It took a full 24 hours to heat up. That was a waste of an entire day we could have spent relaxing and playing in the pool. The temp was remote controlled outside the state (literally from Minnesota or something), and I had to call over and over again to make sure it was turned on and working because of the amount of time it was taking to warm up. I asked many times to get a refund for a single day of the pool fee because of this, but was always ignored. The company was terrible at responding and with the temps being remote controlled we couldn't make the spa any warmer than it's pretty basic low setting. We found this to be a pretty obnoxious money grab for very terrible service. I wouldn't rent here again, and in future will be looking for houses without off-putting "pool heat" fees. Also: the fire pit isn't working. So couldn't warm up there at night either. And you are directly under the airport flight path.

Perfect Retreat

Perfect location with great views while lounging by the pool. Near the airport so planes are noisy but not enough that would prevent us from staying at this location again.

Everything was great, one exception. Manager claimed we were required to do a video call within 24 hrs of check in, but once we were there I had a question about the pool heat, and I got no response. No video call, just straight silence. That was odd, but it didn’t ruin our time there. Pool was perfect.

Nice place to stay

Our stay was comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights and overall we didn’t have any issues. The house is located super close to downtown and Albertsons. The property manager Colt was very friendly and prompt with our questions. However, there were a few things that weren’t listed on the website that I wish I had known earlier. For instance, we need to pay for 3 days minimum to heat up the pool. Also the house is located on the fly zone so it can get pretty distracting and loud at times. And given that it’s owned by a property management company the amenities were sort of basic like those cheap little shampoos and conditioners. And no body wash which we had to buy separately.

Issues/ Concerns

The overall proper was nice and clean. The low rating is due to two main reasons. The home had limited basic supplies; we had to buy TP, paper towel, dish soap, etc. It also had limited kitchen tools such as scissors which we also purchased. The main concern is that day 4, a yard crew came and was spraying pesticides. I asked if it was dangerous and the gentleman replied yes for two days. I few weren't home, we wouldn't have known; we also had a pet with us, double concern. I called the property management company to let them know and received no follow-up. Finally the electronics were a mess. We had tech savvy people with us, and took hours to get the TVs working. The instruction book was outdated, the remotes did not resemble what we were actually working with. After a power outage, all was out, and we had to call in a technician.

Lovely home

It's exactly as pictured, was clean as a whistle. Bed linens were great, mattresses fantastic. Yard, pool, outdoor gazebo, bocce court was all put to good use! Had a wonderful time. My only recommendations are: a cutting board would really be nice, and scissors. A little more info like which days the pool guy and landscapers come, garbage day and instructions. Also maybe label the light switches because we had quite a time in the beginning of our 16 day stay figuring out where the light switches for certain lights were. Location is quiet, safe. It would also be nice to have those happy little twinkling string lights that make everything so lovely at night while you're outside have a drink, playing a game. But the pool is perfect, everything was. Would love to return.
