Pet Friendly in Historic District w/ Private Courtyard by Lucky Savannah

Pineapple Cottage is off of quiet Charlton Street, this two-bedroom, one-bath cottage has everything you could want in a vacation home. Within walking distance to all Savannah has to offer, you’ll simply have to pick a direction to begin your day of exploration.

This one level home has a spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV, so you can spend some time catching up on your favorite shows. Open to the living area, the kitchen has been fully renovated and has a modern subway-style backsplash and stainless steel appliances. The breakfast bar is a perfect spot to get some work done, or enjoy a home cooked meal, right off the kitchen. You’ll find a private outdoor space, with additional seating outside just off the kitchen, perfect for a gathering of family, friends and pets!

You’ll find both bedrooms split amongst the home, with the bathroom just off of the hall. The first bedroom is deemed the primary suite, and has a king-sized bed, smart television and spacious closet. The second bedroom has a twin trundle bed, in addition to a smart television and closet for your belongings. The shared bathroom has a shower/tub combo, with granite top vanity and plenty of storage beneath.

If you do bring a pet to this dog-friendly home, you'll be in a great location to walk over to Mother Matilda Beasley, the only dog park in the Historic District. A short walk to beautiful Jones Street will bring you to Clary’s Cafe, the setting for several breakfast scenes in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and a favorite breakfast spot for locals and visitors alike.

This unit has on-street parking - one side is metered and the other is non-metered in the area. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.

Way better than a hotel room!!!

This place worked out well for a baseball tournament that we were in town for. The parking was easy, everything was quiet, and it was a great place to stay.

Historic time

Location was in the historic district. We stayed over 4th of July. Walking distance to Riverfront where the fireworks were spectacular. House was as advertised. It’s small, but plenty big enough for a couple and a child. The house was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

Fabulous Savannah

Had a sister trip and the Pineapple Cottage did not disappoint us. We are both in our 70’s and found the location to be great. Loved the city. Would rebook and come again.

We walked everywhere. Walking distance to a Kroger grocery, Forsyth Park, many of the squares in the historic district, and the river front. Parking is paid on Pineapple Cottage side of the street and unpaid across the street. We almost always got a spot on the unpaid side. If not, we parked a block away. Just watch for street sweeping days.

We picked the Pineapple Cottage hosted by LuckySavannah. The cottage was perfect.The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. It was in close proximity to everything . We parked our car and walked to all of the squares. Highly recommend . Any questions I had about the rental/area were answered promptly by Lucky Savannah.

Just ok

Minimal supplies. One hand towel and one toilet roll, one coffee pack for a week etc. sofa and chair REALLY need to be replaced. Lots of extra pillows and blankets so that was good.

Great play to stay in Savannah!

We came to Savannah for a gymnastics meet and were happy we chose this place. Quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown. Cozy, clean and comfy. My kids had a great time counting 127 pineapples in the home. Love that theme! Loved the book the host put together about things to do in Savannah. We’d love to come back sometime.

Wonderful stay

Clean and comfy, great location! 5 day stay, walked to everything with exception to Tybee and Wormsloe. Definitely recommend and Savannah was gorgeous!

Good but could be better.

Not Everyone is smart TV knowledgeable. A book within the home, giving instructions on Smart TV usage, instructions on where and how to park, The cost of parking and the ramifications of parking on the wrong side of the road, would've been extremely useful. Prior knowledge of what is required for check out would've been nice to have known about prior to the day before checking out. Very clean and communication was good. It would've been a four star rating. Had there been a book of all instructions within the Home.

Quick Weekend Stay

We booked it very late as we weren't sure until a few days in advance what day we would arrive. The booking process was simple and was able to be completed in minutes even with needing a phone call and some added info verification for a last minute booking.The house is easy to find and was very clean. Beds were comfortable, shower has great water pressure. Location is very nice as you can walk pretty well anywhere in downtown. It's about .5 miles to the center of town which isn't a bad walk at all.Great value for cleanliness and location

Mom and daughters trip

We loved the location and it was great for our size group. I was traveling with my adult daughters and had planned for them to stay in the guest bedroom but it is really sized for one person. The king size bed was accommodating for two to sleep comfortably. The house was within walking distance to a lot of the places we wanted to see. I would recommend pineapple cottage!

Cute little spot in Savannah

Location was a nice 5 min drive to downtown, easy to communicate with the host and offered to keep our luggage since we arrived early. Just enough space for 3 people and not too crowded.
