Welcome to The Luxury Bronzeville Manor! This beautiful 4 story graystone is located in the highly sought after neighborhood of Bronzeville on a historical block! This fully furnished 1 bedroom unit boost high 12ft ceilings which allows for a flood of natural light. This unit also includes floor to ceiling black out curtains to maintain your perfect sleep for our hard working nurses and traveling professionals! You will also have a dedicated work desk and stunning fully updated kitchen to cook amazing meals! Were pet friendly!!! Its a non returnable pet fee for now. You are within walking distance from gym, close to Lake Michigan, dining restaurants, entertainment (i.e. McCormick place). This unit also includes paid amenities such as water, heat, gas, electricity, and high speed Internet. As well on site high efficiency washer and dryer.

Secured entryway which includes keyless entry and available street parking.

Walking distance from Providence Hospital and U of C hospital. Minutes from St Berbard hospital and the medical district (Rush hospital, Strogers hospital, University of Illinois hospital), public transportation CTA (Train & bus) and a 10-15 min drive from all the downtown hospitals.

first time in chicago and this location was amazing! never had an issue with parking. sleeping and hanging out around the place was very comfortable, felt like a home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay in Cornell’s unit. First, the location was excellent for us: very close to Hyde Park on a quiet safe street, and only a 15-min drive to the south end of downtown, where we went to eat a few times. Also, parking was usually available right in front of the building. Second, the communication with Cornell was very responsive and friendly. When I was struggling a bit to gain entry using the keypad when we arrived (user error on my part lol), he answered my call right away and was very helpful. Last, the unit was immaculate, stylish, and comfortably furnished. Highest recommendation!!

Very nice and quiet neighborhood and easy to get to and from Rate Field. Lots of street parking. Bad storm knocked out tv reception and caused a waterfall in living room ceiling but was about to take care of it. Noticed a washer/dryer in unit, but not listed so assume owner did not want it used plus dishwasher does not work. Nice place but not sure I’d stay here again since it is a person’s home and not just a rental property.

Chicago visit for chosen few festival

I recently recently booked this property to come to Chicago for extended weekend. The owner was fantastic to work with, accommodating and friendly. The property was immaculate and the location was fantastic. Staying in this property made our trip wonderful. I’d highly recommend staying in this area with this owner.

Wonderful Little Place in Chicago

The host is very kind and helpful, and the place is roomy and luxurious (we got upgraded to the penthouse before our stay). The neighborhood is quiet and we had no trouble finding a parking spot for the car. If you ever need a place to stay in Chicago, this is the place! 10/10 experience!

Beautiful home in an classic neighborhood

The home was gorgeous and very well equipped. Checkin and checkout was easy and smooth. The neighborhood has classic older neighborhood charm. The reason for 4 instead of 5 star for location was that it is short on walkable restaurants but very close to bus lines that went straight downtown and ran frequently and the green line. Super easy if you have a car - looks like plenty of street parking.

Taylor Swift Concert Weekend

Cornell did everything he could to make sure my friend and I were accommodated for and felt safe during our stay in Chicago. He made extensive arrangements after we ran into some issues. I could not recommend his property or the area more!

Fantastic location, property and host!

I am grateful for booking this great property for my recent trip to Chicago. The home is beautiful. Decor and location are top notch for my trip. The host, Cornell, communicates effectively, not overly burdening and is very responsive. The arrival and departure instructions were clear and simple. It was a no fuss stay in a beautiful home and there’s not much more I could ask for! I recommend especially for returning southside Chicagoan, makes you feel right at home.

Amazing Property - Great Proximity To Transit

The host was very gracious and accommodating. The unit was immaculately appointed and conveniently located 8 minutes walking distance from the 51st train stop (Green line) and the #3 bus that will take you directly into the city. Close to Hyde park and walking distance to historic Bronzeville restaurants. The ease of check-in was genius as the host maintained great security measures that were easy to facilitate. Had to work briefly and the work desk in the front bedroom made it easy and nice to work with the lovely street view. Location is one block off S MLK and the tree lined street was breathtaking. Highly recommend for couples.

Amazing Home, Neighborhood, and Host.

I appreciated staying here for four days. It is a very spacious, secure property. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. I had a parking spot available every day. It is also close enough to downtown. I was upgraded to the penthouse suite as a courtesy of the host. It was BEAUTIFUL, to say the least, with all of the amenities I needed. I wish there were dishes (pots, pans, ladles) for me to cook with or that I knew there weren't any so I could've brought my own. There were still enough eating utensils for my guest and me to use. I also appreciate that there were two sets of towels provided. I usually use a new towel each day, so I would've liked to have more than two sets. However, I used the washer and dryer in the unit so it all worked out! I'm new to traveling so all of this was more of a learning lesson for me to prepare for or communicate about rather than a complaint. Cornell, the host, was great at communicating and making sure I had everything I needed. Thank you for making my stay great!

While the apartment was clean, beautifully decorated, and located in an attractive neighborhood, we experienced significant issues during our stay.We appreciated the approval of an early check-in without a fee, but the communication leading up to our arrival was problematic. I messaged the owner on 7/5th, ten days prior to our arrival, and received no response.I sent two follow-up messages on 7/6 & 7/11. The owner responded on 7/12 stating that instructions would be sent on7/14.Because I still had not received them by 10:00 PM on 7/14,I had to contact VRBO support.The check-in details were finally sent early in the morning on 7/15, our arrival date.Furthermore, the property we were provided was not the one advertised. Instead of the penthouse promised by the owner, we were given a significantly smaller second-floor flat, particularly regarding the bedroom. The layout also differed from the advertisement, featuring a staircase leading to a landing with two locked doors rather than a single door at the top.The apartment also had two obvious areas in need of repair: an opening in the living room ceiling with paper hanging down from a previous water leak, and large white spackling patches on a green wall in the bedroom.It was only after I contacted VRBO again on 7/15 that the owner acknowledged the property had been switched without notification.It was too late in the evening for us move. While a compensation agreement has since been reached,the experience was disappointing
