Beautiful ocean view just steps from the sand!

Welcome to Uptown Puptown! Just steps to the beach this newly renovated 2 bed, 1 bath is located on a quiet street but around the corner from great restaurants and shopping, as well as 7-11, CVS, Wawa & Food Lion. **Newly added in 2024, a split unit AC/Heat system** The kitchen & bathroom were recently renovated & include a dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee machine, toaster, crock pot & stocked kitchen. You can make a quick breakfast or a entire meal. Enjoy the oversized custom tiled shower with a rain shower head and handheld sprayer to get all that sand off. The 55 inch tv in the family room has basic cable and access to many streaming services, plus additional tvs in each bedroom. Our comfy sofa has a pull out queen size memory foam mattress for additional sleeping quarters. The house also comes with lots of beach gear including beach chairs, pop up tent, boogie boards and sand toys as well as indoor activities like some dumbbells, resistance bands, yoga mats, board games, and an acoustic guitar. Just bring your own sheets & towels. Off street parking for 1 car as well as some street parking and close access to bus stops with cheap, worry free transport from the Delaware line to the Inlet. Renters must be 21 years of age or older. Come enjoy your beach getaway with us Uptown!

Great place to stay at! The free wifi was great, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect. The beach was really close by, Making it so you can visit the beach as much as you want. The stores were nice too, I went walking to 711 on multiple occasions. I totally recommend!

Quick walk to the beach!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Getting onto the beach then back to the apartment couldn't have been easier, the location was our favorite part. The ocean view from the balcony or the breakfast table was lovely. No car needed during our stay which was great; you're within walking distance to convenience stores, mini golf, ice cream, and good eats. Our family of 5 stayed very comfortably. We really appreciated the large shower, in-unit laundry, and beach toys/chairs. We will most definitely be back!

Great stay

We had a wonderful time with our family of 5. Jason was very responsive and the place had everything you would need. Location was perfect. Only steps to the beach and quick walks to restaurants convenient stores exc.

Spectacular Weekend in North Ocean City

We thoroughly enjoyed our extended weekend stay at J and H's Beach House! It was the perfect size and location for us--and this condo provided everything we needed for a fun, relaxing stay. The remodeled bathroom inspired us to start our own plans for upgrading at home! We loved being steps from the beach, and close to all of our favorite restaurants. Highly recommend!

Perfect location

Cozy condo with a responsive and friendly host! The location was absolutely perfect. Within short walking distance of grocery store, restaurants, and the beach. Comfortable stay for small families with up to three young children. Dog-friendly! The only negative is that the AC is a bit loud, but we got used to that fairly quickly. Fantastic shower and the kitchen was set up for easy use.

Vacation

Very homie, comfortable, perfect for our family. Steps to the beach . Fully stocked and also with cleaning products. Beds were comfy. Deck was nice. Also had boogie boards, shovels, and buckets for the kids. My dog was allowed, and it fit her perfectly. The 7 of us had an awesome time. Would come back next year!

Enjoyable Stay!

I stayed here for a few nights over 4th of July with my family (2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 infant, and a dog) and we enjoyed it! The apartment is nicely renovated and super close to the beach. We were able to walk to the beach with the tiny children and all the beach gear with no trouble. My only complaints are that the queen size bed is very soft so if you’re used to a firm mattress you may wake up with some muscle pain. And I could not for the life of me figure out how to turn on the outdoor water hose to spray sand off our feet. Jason was very responsive and kind. Note: Dogs are not allowed on the beach during the summer so our dog spent most of the trip in the apartment unfortunately.

Bachelorette Getaway!

It was my cousin's Bachelorette weekend, and there were four of us. My cousin and her younger sister shared the larger bed, and her best friend and I were comfortable on the bunk beds. We LOVED how close it was to the beach; literally walked right in to it. It was far from the Boardwalk, which kept the area quiet at night, but right across a Wawa in case we needed anything. We loved the shower and having a full kitchen, as well as a washer-dryer and dishwasher was very convenient. We weren't sure about the rules, so we ran the dishwasher before leaving and stripped the beds and placed the sheets and pillowcases in/around the machine. The AC in the bedrooms worked, however the one in the living room did not. The parking spot is literally on a bed of white stones. I drive a Nissan Murano, and it was tough to navigate in there because the spot was so narrow and it was awkwardly situated right next to a narrow driveway. Unfortunately we didn’t get the code to open the lock for the keys beforehand, but a quick message to the owner was met with a prompt response. We checked in after 5pm, and our email stated check out was 12pm, but two men came around 11:45 and said they needed to get in there to clean. We were confused as check out was 12pm. They said it was 11am, but I had proof it was 12pm. Just a bit uncomfortable to have them stand there and watch us, as we were already leaving. All in all, it was an AWESOME stay with a few tiny bumps in the road. Highly recommend!

We live in Urbana, MD but both of us grew up going to OC and always dreamed of having our own place there. After many years of taking our kids down and getting rentals, and after the covid lockdown we decided to make our dreams come true! Now we're happy to share that dream with others!

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

Truthfully, I have a good friend that has a place only a block and a half away on Assawoman so that helped! Besides being about 200 steps to the sand, uptown is perfectly centralized with everything you need within walking distance. Original Crab Cake Factory is right across the street and so are the Wawa and 7-Eleven open 24 hours. The closest grocery store is only a couple blocks as well as plenty of other great restaurants and shopping options. We are also walking distance from 128th St Northside Park which is great to watch sunsets from their pier.

We love our little slice of the beach. Although you can't quite see the waves breaking, we have a great view of the ocean from the front of the property. Enjoy your coffee on the deck or at our table facing the water. We've tried to put together a perfect place for a family or just to get away and relax. We try to offer many amenities to make your stay memorable and hope to be part of your beach tradition in the future!
