Cabin where the black top ends… Cabin 2

Looking for a peace of heaven in West Virginia. This small cabin seats on top of the mountain. Great place to relax and seat back and enjoy the peace and quiet. The cabin isn’t far from Smoke Hole for some great fishing. Looking for some great hiking. We have Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks just a beautiful drive through the mountains. We are about five min. from Highland's Golf Club if you are looking for a weekend of golf. Looking for a place to go with you furry baby. Check out Swilled Dog Hard Cider on Pettersburg Pike/Industrial Park Road in Franklin WV.
This small cabin with one full bathroom (washer/Dryer)(Shampoo and body wash) and one bedroom (Queen Bed). The cabin offers a open floor plan and has two twin beds. I also have two twin air mattress if needed. This small cabin can sleep six. ALL LINENS ARE PROVIDED. The kitchen is a fully stocked with everything you would need. Dinning room table with four chairs and if you need more room. There is a bar with four bar stools over looking the kitchen. (Paper towels and hand towels are provided with soap). If spending time inside you have a leather electric couch and love seat to relax and unwind. For the really cold night we offer a woodstove in the cabin and also a split unit if you don't want to mess with wood. The cabin has WiFi and a 55 inch screen TV with movies to watch on a DVD player.
If the sun is shinning and the outdoors are calling. There is a drive under carport in the back to have your car under shelter. The front porch offers a beautiful overlook of the property with chairs. Out from the front deck there is more room to socializing with friends/family when grilling out with on a charcoal grill . When the sun is seating behind the mountains . Get ready to build a fire in our large fire pit for roasting marshmallows. We have fire wood for a donation. I have a pond that is shared with another cabin. Don't worry there is plenty of room. Each cabin has its on pond area (picnic table and fire pit). You are allowed to fish but much catch and release. The property is on a cistern (Large water tank that holds water for the roof to supply water to the cabin). Please bring your on water to drink. Don't forget you little furry baby's on you adventures.

Awesome cabin!

Very peaceful and comfortable location

Took my dog with me, spent 3 nights there. The house was very well equipped and very organized with the lay out. Really enjoyed the stay!

FANTASTIC !!

My stay was REALLY great!! Nice and peaceful and surrounded by beauty. The stars were incredible. The pond is full of fish and BBQ-ing was delicious.The place doesn't look like much, but the inside was Beautiful !! Will be back soon !!

Great stay

I know it says in the listing, but I did miss it. This is NOT in Franklin. Even with that being said, it was still a great place to stay. We enjoyed the pond and swings!

Best Getaway In The Mountains

this cabin was awesome for our group of 6 young adults. There was no WiFi/signal for the first night but we enjoyed that as it was able to bring us closer as a group. The owners were very responsive and flexible with check in/check out. the pictures don’t do this place justice. defined recommend!

Beautiful, cabin, beautiful decor, very , very clean. The pond was fun to fish in( throw back) , my son loved the swings. I highly, highly recommend this place. Great hiking woods. The fact they recycle rain water is even better for me. You can tell a lot of love and thought went into this bnb. Thank you so much for having us 💗

Great spot and cabin

Just the drive out to this cabin is worth it. Lots of green rolling hills and scenery. At times it felt like we were in Ireland. Didn't realize WVA had areas like this. Nice little cabin. Well kept and decorated. I really enjoyed the wood stove and fire pit. Kids had a great time exploring outside and trying to catch fish in the pond.

Tucked away in the mountain

The place was beautiful! We were in our own little heaven for 3 days. Of course, we went out to explore, but the house had such a cozy home-like feeling that we were happy to return to it. We will definitely be back! The only reason I gave cleanliness a 3-star, was because there was a small fish hook on the carpet in the living room, and it went into my foot. Other than that, it was great! Thank you!

Great getaway

Everything was as expected and couldn’t be more satisfying. Only one issue - password for Wi-Fi didn’t work. But that just made it more secluded and private. Suggest a few more pictures for review on VRBO. Covered parking was a great surprise given the rain we had. Also show the pond and proximity of it and cabin 1. Would love to spend more time there!

Just a wonderfull person tobdeal with and wonderfull property the charcosl grill came in hsndy on a rainy day the covered porch is beautifully built it makes you feel your in nature . Thank you for everything that made this trip wonderfull we will be back and next time for a week. I highly recomend that this property is clvisited we will be back

Cozy and Quiet

Great location, you feel very secluded. The drive to Seneca Rocks was beautiful! During our stay we saw many bucks. The cabin appeared to be very clean at first glance but my dog quickly sniffed out a urine puddle on the dining room floor/rug and the dog bed was wet (I’m assuming with urine as well.) I understand this is a pet friendly cabin and I appreciated that very much! (If my dogs can’t come, we don’t go.) However, if I’m being charged a cleaning fee I’d expect to not have to clean up urine immediately upon arrival. It doesn’t ruin our stay and if book the location again.

Great get away

This was a beautiful property just far enough away from everyone to feel private, but within an hour of some prime hiking opportunities, and pet friendly! Cabin 1 is visible from cabin 2, but our neighbors were quiet and seemed to want to enjoy their solitude as well so didn’t bother us at all. The house was clean and well stocked with essentials. There’s firewood for donation, but plenty of woods around the property to collect your own too if you’re feeling up for it! We only slept in the queen but it was comfortable. The living room was set up nicely with pillows and throw blankets to make you feel at home. The outside sitting areas were plentiful, whether you want to sit around the site, or hang out on the deck. My pup loved squirrel watching! Highly recommend this property and would stay again on a heartbeat!
