Great option for a one-night stay in the kittery area right where we wanted to be. Cam was excellent with communication, the cottage was as described and we had a great stay.

Clean and accessible. Listing included “ amenity” of a “coffee bar”. Kuerig with NO pods and host did NOT respond to request or even acknowledge it. Such a small accoutrement in the scheme of things. Paid 2 1/2 months in advance. Overall price point was high considering it was an oversized hotel room with a small kitchen in Kittery, Maine.

My wife and daughter loved the location and the cabin was great in a perfect location for their week. Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Great location for all our plans while in the Kittery area. Woodland Cottage was very cute and clean. Nice quiet area. Cam was very quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the Kittery area.

The cottage was super clean. The photos in the listing accurately portray the rooms. Location is great, right between Portsmouth and Ogunquit. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. Highly recommend.

Great place near Salem!

This vacation rental was the prefect place for my daughter and me. The neighborhood was beautiful; the property was really clean and communication with the host was easy.

This was a modern vrbo that was nicely decorated. We had an issue during our stay, but the host was extremely apologetic and made it right immediately and that is good customer service.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Just a quick getaway before the holidays, perfect spot to unwind and do some Christmas shopping. Hosts made it easy. Great welcome booklet with suggestions for local food and drink. Reasonably priced. Wonderful, clean, quiet space. Would definitely stay here again. Cheers!

Great spot to relax and enjoy some family time.

Exactly as advertised!

Everything was clean and as advertised. No surprises except for lovely personal touches in the welcome book and notes about specifics of the property. Great communication and service from the hosts! Very quiet and friendly atmosphere.

Property was not as advertised. It is not private at all but quite literally squeezed in between a 2 story garage which was converted to apartment units and the main house which the owners rent out and on a busy street. Even if you don't mind being on display for all the renters and wanted to enjoy the yard, there is no direct way to access it and once you get there nowhere to sit, but there are bits of toys and other items strewn about. Also, I had the sense that there were security concerns with the property since the owners had 2 cameras recording video and audio, one overlooking the parking lot and at the door of the 'cottage'. Additionally, the living room had a very powerful and unpleasant smell. The owners did add some glade plug-ins to help with the smell but they were unable to mask it and we needed to spend our time in the kitchen and bedroom because it was so unpleasant. And Finally, the owners did not send us the actual street address of the property until the day of check in, I am not sure if this is common practice, it is not the case with other rentals I have gotten but my sense was that it was so we could not do a street view of the property beforehand, because if we did we would have cancelled the rental. On the positive side communication was easy and the unit was clean.

Nice rustic cabin in ME

The property is fine, with dedicated parking out front. There was good communications with the owner. The living area and kitchen are a little dated, but functional. Good instruction booklet to explain the operation of heater, water, etc. The bathroom is smaller but functional, the shower is tiny - not sure what you could do about that challenge. A couple of negatives - I’m a light sleeper and there is some road noise from the highway and the tv only allows viewing of pay subscriptions you are already subscribed to. Solid spot for a stay.

This was, by far, the best short stay rental experience I ever had. They are amazing hosts, the place was immaculate and the grounds were sooooo beautiful. I can't recommend this highly enough.
