We enjoyed our stay, cottage was clean and comfortable. Wished we would of been able to launch the kayaks from there, but was not real feasible with the water being up to the bank, and no launch pad. All in all, quite nice.

Great little spot with a cool creek setting right by the camp fire. I left 3 expensive fishing poles there and Brandon was willing to hold them until I could get back up there to grab them. It was nice.

Great little spot for a get away. The place was clean and the host was quick to respond. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the game room and access to the lake. 100% would recommend

Had a couple issues, but the host provides his personal cell phone number before check in, responds promptly, and does everything he can to make it right. Solid host.

We had such a great stay at this cozy little cottage! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway up north. The location was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to unwind while still being close to everything we wanted to do. The cottage was well cared for, and you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone!

The property was perfect. We had a great time staying there. If I had any suggestions, the game room it could have had the cobwebs cleaned up a little more, there would have been more time spent there had that been the case.And if I had a suggestion, I would move the fire pit a little further away from the creek. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay. Maybe a shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries on

WOW! We have stayed at tons of vacation rentals, but this was our family favorite! We loved the quite, peaceful location. It was close enough to town and the state parks/ beaches, but far enough away in a secluded area that let us see the stars at night and herds of deer on the driveway in the morning. The game room was also a big hit. And being able to deal with Brandon who was super-fast to respond to messages made everything a breeze. Brandon answered every question and went above and beyond to make great recommendations for us. He pointed out restaurants, beaches and fun antique shops and that made our stay memorable. It was so much fun! As for the cabin, it was clean and had absolutely everything we needed. all of the amenities were well thought out and we appreciated that very much.

Relaxing Place to Stay

My husband and I traveled around Lake Michigan and this was one of our stops for one night. Had a great time relaxing by the outside fire pit.

Great up north adventure

Stayed here with my Grandkids and they enjoyed it very much. The cabin has a nice setup and has everything you need. There are swimming areas nearby and a waterfall with swimming and great places to eat.

Peaceful getaway

This was a perfect place for our trip to visit family and Mackinac Island. Very quiet and had everything we needed. We didnt have time to enjoy the extras but the kayaks and separate game room would be great for someone that was there longer. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at Mud Creek Cottage! Super easy check and out process and our host responded so quickly when we reached out. Very clean and cute cottage and property! Would definitely stay again!

It is a good hunting camp. Kayaking was terrible. Should invest in hard kayaks, not blow up ones. Also, they should have not made it sound like it was a good kayaking time. Could only paddle for about 2 minutes each way before having to go back due to too much debris and fallen logs in the way. Very disappointing. Games were broken and super cheap. “Game room” was deceiving in the pictures, dirty with broken games. For the amount of money I paid for 4 days, I was disappointed overall. The beds were comfy tho.

The waterway is a natural creek, and conditions can change with fallen trees, debris, and changing water levels. While we can’t control the natural conditions of the creek, we understand that this affected your experience and will look at how we can better communicate the current water conditions to guests so expectations are clear. excellent communication, very clean, fun place for down time.

we were there only 2 nights because we were going to Mackinaw but really liked the place. Me and my granddaughter enjoyed the game room. I would stay there again. It was very comfortable.
