The suite had everything you need & some nice additional touches, like fresh ground coffee, wine & even some gluten free snacks! It was comfortable & quiet for our weekend stay to attend a wedding.

The rental was really beautifully decorated and well thought out, with everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay in Maine central coast. In a rural setting, but close to many wonderful places. The hosts must be great travelers, as they anticipated everything you might need to relax at your compact home away from home.Highly recommend!

The suite is very nicely done. It's comfortable, well decorated, and efficiently arranged to make the most of the space and to provide useful amenities for your stay, We really appreciated some thoughtful touches such as a well-curated selection of books, videos, and games, and freshly ground coffee, local milk, and snacks. Check in and check out were easy, and Vince was easy to communicate with. We hope to visit again.

Maine get away

Loved this property! It was so comfortable, and everything you could want was there. It’s also a great location for day trips.

One of the nicest places I've stayed. The space was peaceful and very thoughtfully deigned and curated. The hosts paid alot of attention to detail and the experience was that much more enjoyable because of it.

This lovely accommodation provided a great place for us to stay as we explored the coast. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and tactfully decorated. The hosts provided some snacks, water bottles, fresh-ground coffee, and a bottle of wine. It was just what we needed for our stay.

Birch Point was just what we needed on our travels through Maine. It was comfortable, clean and had nice touches. The studio was in a quiet area but close to towns and attractions along the coast. We were treated to a welcome bottle of wine, snacks and delicious coffee. The outside patio was wonderful for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Highly recommend.

Great get away

Vince very responsive and accomodating. Wonderful goodies upon our arrival. Beautiful land. Worked great for us visiting family and attend a wedding. Would definitely book again.

Quaint and quiet

Spectacular room and bathroom. The small details were very impressive.A bottle of wine waiting for us.Also a beautiful flower on the table, coffee , fresh cream, water and snacks. Very impressed we had a great stay!

Perfect for two people. In a quiet neighborhood. Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable! Decorated very well. Thoughtful extras like coffee, cream, water, and snacks. Highly recommend!

Pleasant mid-coast Maine studio

New studio accommodations in the Boothbay Harbor region. Located on quiet road, with good access to the many peninsulas in this area. Property is well equiped and accurately described. Hosts were quite helpful!

Perfect!!

Vince and Scott were incredibly gracious upon our arrival! Fresh ground coffee and a bottle of wine!! The suite was perfect and exactly what we wanted/needed. Cozy, private. Gardens are Beautiful !! Great area to stroll through or sit read a book or just take in the peace and quiet. We WiLL be back when we return to Maine. peace and quiet

Beautifully appointed, well thought out

I cannot say enough good things! We had to scramble to find a place to stay overnight and I am so glad we found this place. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Everything is so well thought out, welcoming and comfortable. The a/c was running and the room was cool when we got there, which after a 3 hour race in 85 degree weather, was a huge plus! Super clean, nice bed linens and towels. Lovely welcome note and treats. Fresh ground pour over coffee setup and a delightful basket of snacks! Small fridge and freezer for convenience plus little kitchen cabinet with sink. Small cafe table and chairs as well. There just was nothing lacking!

Fantastic Wiscasset Getaway

My wife and I had a great 3-night stay at Birch Point. The suite is the perfect size for two, has all of the amenities needed, and is very comfortable (especially the King-sized bed) and immaculate. The decor is really cool, inviting and well done. There was nothing that we were lacking, and the wine, coffee, and snacks were a really nice touch. There was even a hand-written note from Vince when we arrived which made it feel like we were staying with friends we've known for years. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on one of the patios (there are two) overlooking the thoughtfully designed gardens and variety of trees on the property. The location was convenient for touring Wiscasset, Boothbay, and points along Downeast Maine. We were glad we had some time to connect with Vince and Scott as well, as they are lovely gentlemen to talk to. We highly recommend Birch Point to couples looking for a quaint getaway along the coast of Maine!

Check-in was independent using a lockbox, the room was just as advertised, and the kitchenette was minimal, also as advertised. Knowing ahead that food preparation would be limited, we planned to find breakfast places, and Vince’s suggestions fit our needs well. The room and bathroom have clearly been carefully thought through, with freshly ground coffee and a good selection of tea available, plus fresh cream in the mini fridge, and a basket of snacks. Lighting was well done, though it took me a while to find the switches, and the switch for the outside lights I never did understand. There was a well-written notebook of instructions, which I very much appreciate, having been a host myself, and knowing many people do not read them, but I didn’t find it right away. Maybe include the notebook’s location in the welcome note? Vince was responsive to requests for information, and the bed (the most important feature) was very comfortable.Overall, I was impressed with the care and thought evident in how everything was arranged and what was available, from Q-tips in the bathroom and the sign about the water-sense toilet, to the charging cords for the 2 battery-powered devices in the main room, games, and a good collection of books. I wished for more open surface spaces for my husband’s wallet and keys and our various chargers, but we were able to plug in everything that needed charging (not always easy!), we slept well, and we were comfortable. Thank you!

This guest suite was wonderful. The owners thought of everything and there were many special touches. The property is beautiful and tranquil. The bed is very comfortable. Everything is very clean and inviting. There is coffee, tea, snack and wine to enjoy. Hosts are easy to communicate with and attentive to requests. This area of Maine is full of potential for side trips and the location is very convenient to the main highway. Highly recommended.
