Ejendomsinformation - Få den bedste af begge verdener med dette charmerende søhus på en stille kreds i Dennisport, Mid-Cape Cod. Du har adgang til vandet lige uden for din bagdør med smuk udsigt over svane dam og bevaringsland. Tilbring tid på søen eller på Sea Street eller Glendon stranden ned ad gaden. Svan Pond er omkring 1,5 miles lang og forbinder til Swan River - som forbinder til strandene og havet på Nantucket Sound. Fisk, kajak, kano, sejl, windsurf eller bare slappe af på denne meget smukke sø, det er op til dig! Huset har et nyt dæk og en privat baghave, der er rummelig nok til at underholde eller bare slappe af, mens du ser den smukke udsigt og dyrelivet. Swan Pond er kendt for sin store fiskeri og kanosejlads, denne sø har ikke offentlig adgang til motorbåde, så det er meget rolig. Huset har 3/4 soveværelser, (NY), Loft - med 2 enkeltsenge. et bad, udendørs bruser og kan sove op til 8. Det er nyligt renoveret med nye gulve og leveres med kano, 2 kajakker, (NY) 6 personers aluminium robåd, oppustelig båd, mikrobølgeovn, kabel-tv, WIFI, Roku Streaming, vaskemaskine, tørretumbler, køkkenartikler og grill. Det er en fantastisk måde at nyde Cape Cod livsstil. Huset er bekvemt placeret til strandene, cykel trail, og restauranter (Chapins, Søndagsskolen, etc.). Du kan endda gå til Clancys Restaurant.

Værelser er udstyret med puder og tæpper. Skal levere eget sengetøj. Sengetøj kan leveres til et gebyr på $ 100 (gennem vores rengøringsagentur)

We had a great time on Swan Pond. The house was beautifully decorated, very close to the waterfront, and had a nice piece of property to enjoy nights by the fire. Communication with the owners was quick and easy and responsive to all questions.

Stunning lake views/access/seating in a quiet neighborhood. Great access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail and Sea St beach. We had all the amenities we needed for 6 adults and a baby to enjoy. The washer and dryer were a great plus. Overall a great stay on the mid Cape!

John and Laura have thought of everything you could need and then some for a wonderful Cape Cod vacation! The cottage is incredibly well stocked, and if you happen to forget something, they probably already have it. And if not, there are plenty of stores just a mile away.We truly enjoyed our annual trip to the Cape and loved staying at this cottage. It was comfortable, welcoming, and made for a relaxing getaway. We would absolutely stay here again!

The property was as described in the listing. It was a nice touch to have all necessary supplies provided, such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, sponges, etc. The kayaks were great to have, so we didn't have to spend extra money on rentals. The only thing I can think of to add is maybe another a/c in the loft area. It was particularly warm up there. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Thank you for the response and the AC suggestion. We did replace the AC in the loft this year with a NEW one. The loft tends to cool off fairly quickly but the week you rented it was 94-95 degrees every day. Great beach weather. Glad you enjoyed the lake and the boats. Always fun exploring on the lake. What a great place to stay! Everything was as portrayed in the photos—right down to the blue crab napkin holder. : ) Loved all the outdoor seating options, and the kayaks for paddling around the pond were so fun. And there really were swans—a whole family! We also enjoyed the mid-Cape location; less than five minutes to a good beach, and only about 30 minutes to a "big" beach (Nauset). Would definitely stay here again, and have already recommended it to family and friends. The *only* suggestion I have is to maybe install a clothesline somewhere outside (or in the basement?) to hang wet bathing suits, etc., on.

Relaxing 2 Week Stay

Truly the best of both worlds- mid-cape. The house is so fun and deceptively large! Our family of 6 (adult children) all fit perfectly and had a blast. It is the best and most graciously supplied rental we have ever had. It has charm, beautifully decorated, very clean, and everything worked perfectly.We loved paddling the kayaks and the canoe with chairs out to the island for a beach day, and another day we had a blast paddling the Swan River estuary and spent the afternoon at the beach and floated the current home.The binder had great suggestions and we tried many of the places. We watched osprey catching fish, egrets, herons, crabs, kingfishers, and more. The outdoor shower was a favorite of everyone.Our family easily spread out with all the outdoor seating, tables, hammock, and more. Again, for the size of the property it felt spacious and yet intimate.A perfect jumping off point to explore the Cape, but NOT as congested and expensive as Chatham. It is a quaint and quiet neighborhood with a perfect walking loop. Can't say enough about this property.If we didn't live 19 hours away we would come again soon! Thank you!

Perfect getaway spot

The house was adorable and very clean & well organized. The lake was lovely, and we had a lot of fun using the kayaks. Location was great too; it was a short drive to go-carts, trampolines, mini golf, shops, ice cream, restaurants, etc. We really enjoyed our stay!

Delightful family vacation week on the mid-cape

The house perfectly fit our needs and was a great location overlooking Swan Pond. Can't beat waking up to the view of the pond and daily visits from the local swans.

The quintessential Cape Cod Cottage!

It has everything you could want in a Cape Cod stay - water front, quiet location but near lovely downtown Harwichport, beaches, entertainment, and restaurants. Plenty of sleeping room, cedar shingles, blooming hydrangeas, two patios AND a deck, and an outdoor shower! Would definitely rent here again.

Perfect for our family and beautiful views

Family Getaway

This cozy home was an amazing place to spend a week with my family. The yard was perfect for us plus our extended family to play and visit. The plethora of watercraft and lifevests made our time on the pond so relaxing. Great location, well appointed home. Highly recommend!!

Lovely setting, a kayakers dream

The house is very quaint, well maintained, clean & tidy. The backyard is serene on Swan pond. Kayaking the pond to Swan River and out to Nantucket Cove was spectacular.

Swan Pond peace

This house was a real gem. The yard was beautiful, and we were fortunate to have the swans visiting us almost every day. It’s a great location and I would definitely rent this place again.

Cape Cod family weekend

The house was perfect for the 7 of us. We loved using the kayaks and fire pit. We had everything we needed to enjoy beautiful weather outside. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and offered the essentials for cooking. I always appreciate having spices and basic oils so that we don't have to purchase such things. Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous yard

Had a great stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. The backyard was Amazing!! We loved the patio sectional couch, could sit there all day. Only suggestions would be newer beds and a new outdoor firepit. I would definitely rent again.

Thank you very much for the review. Glad you had a nice vacation, and we always appreciate any suggestions on making ones Cape experience more enjoyable. We did end up replacing the fire pit and every so many years we update the mattresses. This year we are replacing two. Thanks John and Laura

Great stay

We had a terrific time at this property. We were looking for a quick get away before school started and this place was exactly what we needed. We hardly left because we had everything we needed there. We used the kayaks provided several times as well as the canoe. Thanks again!!

Perfect spot

I like to find a different place to stay at the Cape every year. This house was perfect. The views, the location, and the size of the house all perfect. We spent all our time outside in the backyard. I don't think I'll be looking for a different place anymore.

We are John and Laura and live on the North Shore located 20 minutes North of Boston. We are two working professionals with two beautiful daughters. Both Laura and I came from families that would make it a tradition to plan their annual vacations on Cape Cod. We were married at the Lighthouse Inn on West Dennis Beach. The area has always been a draw for us and we always looking for reasons to visit. That's when we decided to purchase a home in Dennisport. We are happy to share our getaway with travelers and we hope you and your family will have similar memories of the Cape that we have created over the years. The cottage has been visited by people from around the world. Some recent visitors have traveled from Hong Kong, Ireland, Canada, Denmark, England and many states throughout the US. Recently, we had a couple exchange wedding vows in our backyard.

Location, Location, Location! Its all about location! Fresh/Salt water lake with a river that's connected to the local beaches, being less than 5 minutes from some amazing beaches on Nantucket Sound - was some of the draws to purchasing our cottage. We also love the street being located on a quiet circle - making it safe for walking, riding your bike or going for a jog. The yard is quiet and tranquil with nature views and easy access to the water. The lake is beautiful and very quiet. The back yard overlooking the water is both private and well cared for. Great for BBQing, relaxing on the hammock, sitting down by the water or having dinner on the deck.

Some of our favorite benefits of being on Swan Pond is access tp the lake with the canoe and Kayaks. Having the private deck with water views is rare on the Cape and its something we look forward to every time we visit. The cottage is always very clean and comfortable. Decorated with traditional Cape Cod décor, the cottage offers water views from almost every window. Swan Pond cottage is a year round cottage that is available to rent in the off season. So, if you are looking to get away and would like water views in the Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring - please consider the beautiful views from our cottage getaway. Every season on the Cape is unique, especially on Swan pond.
