Rural Beach Paradise: A Hidden Gem

Stacey is an outstanding host! From the moment you arrive Stacey is there to greet you and you plan the vacation of your dreams - whether it is adventure you are seeking or relaxing...we did a combination of both. She arranged for a local chef to cook for us 2 nights (my mouth is watering just thinking about the magic that was prepared for us). Stacey also hooked us up with fishing, cheese & tortilla making, horseback riding, and the local knowledge of where to eat each night (they have a lot of themed nights). The deck in front of the property has an excellent view of the ocean - watching the sunset from there is magical - whether it is from a hammock or during a yoga class. ...and don't even get me started about the amazing yoga that is offered there or how friendly and accommodating everyone you meet in this rural beach community is. This was my first time in Nicaragua and I cannot say enough about how welcoming the people are. I have also forgotten to comment about the property...Stacey has thought of every single detail to make your stay comfortable and welcoming; from the local honey to the robes with her house's logo on them. She is environmentally contentious and gives back to the community in meaningful ways. I obviously could go on and on about how awesome our stay was with her and amazing of a human-being she is...however, I will pause here and encourage you to go find out for yourself. Trust me when I say you won't be disappointed. I cannot wait to return!!

What I am offering is everything that I love and enjoy; and I have done my best to make it a special experience for those who love the beach, the warm ocean, warm weather, and a very warm and inviting culture. I have recently renovated this property, while living here under construction, providing careful attention to details that I love most, beauty, simplicity, and comfort being key. I am thrilled to transition from construction to hosting and invite you to keep your time here private if you desire - or - am I very happy to help you find your way around our charming little fishing village and introduce you to all that we have to offer. I live in the Casita on the property and we have staff to assist you as needed, or provide you privacy as desired.

It is like taking a step back in time, and living a simpler way of life here in Playa Gigante. It is truly great for the soul to be reminded of what really matters and to slow down your pace, appreciate your resources, and enjoy another culture and way of life.

Casa Ogo is the only upscale Vacation Home located Directly on the Beach. Newly renovated with attention to detail including Nicaraguan artisan crafted furnishings and lamps, rustic features like concrete sinks - with the added modern conveniences of hot water, air conditioning in bedrooms and high end bedding, towels, and kitchen gear. Casa Ogo is not only located directly on the beach but also in close proximity to Restaurants, Bars, Pulperias, Spanish School, and walking distance to surfing at Playa Amarillo. Oceanfront Palapa for Relaxing in a Hammock, doing Yoga, Getting a Massage, Pedicure, Manicure. Short walk to the end of the beach provides a beautiful hike to Redondo Bay, or hike up to Giantsfoot. Step outside your door and be greeted by local fisherman selling their daily catch of fresh lobster, fish, shrimp - or charter one of their Panga's to go fishing, surfing, swimming, snorkeling, or just take in the views from the water. And when you feel like taking a dip in the pool, visit our neighboring hotel for a cold beverage, a delicious meal, and a swim in the pool. At Casa Ogo we can help you have it all.
