Dear Lynn, we are thankful for your visit and wish you all the best. Our property has an AC Unit opperating in perfect condition. Unfortunately, it is so sad to read here that you didn't know how to operate it propertly, neither able to operate the door lock. I would have love to have the chance to help you, but you didn't respond my messages or call me again. Fortunately, nothing bad happened to my property after you left the door unlocked on your check-out. *ATTENTION: The unit has an AC Unit opperating in perfect condition. A licenced professional inspect it regularly and confirmed once again after this complain that it was and it is in optimal condition.

We are really sorry that you didn't appreciated the uniqueness of the Caribbean Experience that Puerto Rico provides. The Coquí is an endemic specie composed of more than 10 different varieties that only can be found in our islands. Their different songs enchant everyone, specially at night, even more after rainy days. You should have researched about it prior to your visit and it would have been a much more exiting and memorable experience that you may not have in big hotels and bigger properties. In regard to the electrical problem, it was addressed and solved. We sent you a refund. Thanks again for your stay.

Dear Cynthia, Safety and privacy are our main priorities, and our property is maintained accordingly with no visible signage—not only to protect our guests, but also to preserve and respect our beloved community, a well-established, private, non-commercial area. We thank you for your feedback here, but we communicated extensively before and during your short stay, and at no point did you mention any of these concerns. I remember your nervousness and excitement during the preparation phase, as well as your expressions of relaxation and gratitude once you arrived. I am sorry if the nuances of a modest garage apartment—one that is highly appreciated by the vast majority of our guests—did not meet your expectations. As reflected in our reviews, this space has become an oasis for many visitors and remains one of the most affordable accommodations in the area. Regarding your cancellation, good faith and generosity were always at the center of our actions. I was sorry to hear about your family emergency and spent several hours working with the VRBO team to process and facilitate your cancellation while giving you the space to focus on your personal circumstances. In addition, I offered an optional partial reimbursement, which unfortunately does not seem to have been appreciated. While I can understand your frustration, it is important to remember that every property has a cancellation policy available for review before a reservation is made. I sincerely wish you all the best.
