For reference, we do send a detailed list of what is provided in the home within our check-in email prior to arrival, so guests can plan accordingly and bring or pick up any additional items they may need during their stay. Hi James, Thank you for the review. We are glad you enjoyed the area. Yes, we agree on the updates and they are happening. The owner of the house bought a year ago and has already put in new kitchen counters and appliances. He has also replaced the outdated upstairs carpet with new flooring. The bathrooms are being remodeled as I type this! Hope to have you back.

Hi Kathy, I am so sorry about the pool being worked on during your stay. The HOA schedules that work and we did not know about it. They usually schedule that type of work before the summer season. New sheets are on the way!

We are sorry you were disappointed in the house. Your rental agreement states you are to contact us immediately with any housekeeping or maintenance issues. Your check in was on a Saturday and we did not hear from you until Sunday at 9:34 pm. We would have sent the cleaning crew back right away on Saturday. The sheets are washed every week between guests and did not have an odor. The house has been rented weekly since May and there were some handprints on some of the exterior doors, but not on the interior doors. We offered to send someone on Monday to look at what you thought was mold. You said it was not convenient even after you complained about it being a safety issue. We take these types of accusations seriously and sent someone on Monday. No mold was found but some staining on the ceiling from the heat in the attic hitting the cool AC, which wiped off in a minute. We then offered you another comparable property to move to, but you declined and chose to stay in this property for the remainder of your stay, even though it was a “safety issue.” Please beware that this renter did not follow the terms of her rental agreement and would not move out of a house that she did not think was safe. She just wanted money back.

We are sorry to read your review. We sent the cleaning lady in on the 4th day of your stay because that is the first we heard from you. Our rental agreement states to report cleaning/maintenance issues on arrival. So you received a mid stay freshen up. We are surprised by your review since you did request to extend your stay by two days. "We're really enjoying our stay." If you choose stay with us again please notify us upon arrival of any cleaning/maintenance issues.

Hello, Thank you for your review. As stated in your rental agreement any housekeeping issues are to be brought to our attention immediately. We would have been happy to send the cleaning crew back out. We do our deep cleans after the summer season as there is not enough time with constant turn over on Saturdays. I know you said you usually visit at Christmas. It is definitely less humid and less spiders/bugs in the winter months. We agree with you regarding the furniture. We will certainly pass it along to the owners. I swept the spider nests off the porch, but they will keep coming back until this heat and humidity stops. We do hope you will visit with us again.
