A perfect get away for the couple that is looking for a peaceful retreat with a spectacular Mountain View. A spacious apartment equipped with all the essentials including a large private deck for dining and relaxing with a fire pit area to enjoy an awesome sunset. Lake Chatuge, the marina, boating, swimming, restaurants, wineries, hiking and much more are all waiting at the entrance of the neighborhood. With tranquil quiet surroundings awaiting you at the “Robin’s Nest on Robin Ridge”
The space
Double sliding glass doors open on to a large private deck boasting of beautiful mountain ranges perfect for dining, also with fire pit area. Step inside to a large fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living space with TV. The bedroom , with queen bed and an electric fireplace is cozy and romantic with plenty of closet space, and nice bathroom with walk in shower.
Guest access
Pull into the driveway and straight into the specific quest parking spot. Walk to the left onto the bottom deck and around back to the set of double glass doors to enter the apartment. The downstairs deck is private and the fire pit area is right off of the deck.
Other things to note
Please do not leave any food or trash anywhere out side as this attracts bears and other wildlife! If you need to empty your garbage just let us know and we will be happy to help you.

If Its Privacy You Want...

This is the place to stay. Very quiet. Owner lives on prop but was away at the time of my visit; however, communication was no problem. We had the place to ourselves and were very comfortable.

Great couple of days in the Georgia Mountains. Marys place was everything we hoped and despite the temporary internet issues Mary couldn’t have been more helpful. Totally recommend this

Robins Nest

It was a very nice place to stay. Location is close to everything you need . I would highly recommend to stay there. Beautiful views of the mountains. We were lucky cause we got to see it with snow.

Robin’s nest was the perfect spot to spend Thanksgiving and visit our son. Mary is a wonderful host.

Excellent stay and gorgeous view!

Excellent layout, plenty of space for the two of us, extremely clean, and gorgeous views. Close to the center of town, easy check-in, and Mary was very communicative and helpful for any questions I had. This really checks all of the boxes I’m looking for when we travel. I would recommend this property!

Valentine's Weekend

We had the Best Valentine's Weekend get a way at Robin's Nest. It is the most Beautiful cottage, well stocked with everything we needed and beautifully decorated. Very Cean and Cozy! The Mountain views are stunning, even though it was cloudy the changing clouds and fog on the Mountains are Beautiful. The owner has planned out every detail and is very knowledgeable of the area. Planning on more trips during the spring.

Excellent property

The host was very easy to communicate with. The property was so cute and comfortable, it had everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to the area. We will definitely come back for our next travel to Hiawassee.

Beautiful View!

Property is just as described. The view from the deck is a stunning long range mountain view. The location is great with easy access to Hayesville, Hiawassee, and Young Harris downtown area. Check All Trails, there are some really nice walks in the immediate area with views and frontage of the lake. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Beautiful Home and Great Location!

The home was very neat and cozy and the porch has a beautiful mountain view. The house is right in down town Hiawassee. Mary left some treats for us and was great at communicating. We would highly recommend staying here!

OMG Perfect!

We stayed here for 12 days at Christmas time. Our host, Mary, is sooooo nice and accommodating! The apartment was spotlessly clean and very cozy, especially with the electric fireplace in the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and there are plenty of app choices on TV. The view overlooking the lake and mountains was wonderful... very peaceful and serene. We even saw some deer! The location was great also. So many places to visit within an hours' drive and even Asheville, NC (the Biltmore) was only 2 hours away. For nice places to eat, Brasstown Valley resort and Enrico's Italian restaurant are both excellent choices... only 5 minutes away in Young Harris. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay!Stan & Dianne, Florida

A wonderful retreat

My wife and I visit the mountains of Northern Georgia about once annually, renting a place to stay each trip. We found Robin's Nest online and spent two wonderful days there. The apartment was perfectly clean and beautifully adorned. Everything we needed was available, including a spacious private deck with a beautiful view. When we left, we forgot one of our bags. Mary helpfully mailed it to us right away. I would definitely recommend the Robins' Nest.

May Wedding

We were invited to a wedding in Hiawassee and when we looked for a place, this property came up. Read the reviews and look at the pictures and decided to give it a chance. Boy, we were so glad we did. The views were exactly like the photos but better as you are really there to see them. Once inside, the place was so well decorated and put together. You had everything you needed and even if you forgot something from home, more than likely it was there for you. We highly recommend this place and will be back the next time we travel up there. So much to do and not enough time to do it all.

Perfect Mountain View with ample room for 2

Sometimes, rentals can be misleading and are oftentimes smaller than the photos look. This rental was spacious indoors and out, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and it was stocked with every possible need you may have. Our host was informative yet respectful to give us space, and we hope to return again the next time we’re in town. The location was amazing as it has a mountainside vista but is just a quick 1-minute drive down to the marina. A guest book offers lots of things to do and places to eat, and a recommendation book for how to improve the property explained how everything has been thought of already. For example, there’s even an outdoor fire pit, and we found a bucketful of fire pit supplies like lanterns, telescoping skewers for roasting marshmallows, bug spray, and more. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful, clean and private mountain getaway that will leave you wondering how someone could prepare so well for guests, look no further.
