Creek House cabin with fire pit
Come enjoy a relaxing getaway at our creek house nestled in the Appalachian mountains. Enjoy morning coffee on the front porch while listening to the creek roll softly along. Dip your toes in the creek or even go for a swim. Grill out with family and round out the evening with smores roasted over the fire pit for dessert.
While mostly secluded, this property is located just 15 mins from Virginia Tech's campus and is the perfect location for a fall tailgate or for families wanting to acquaint themselves with the Blacksburg, VA area.
The space
Previously a tobacco barn, our cabin is unique and cozy. Clean linens and towels will be provided. It should be noted that bedroom #2 is accessed through a door off bedroom #1. The bathroom is located in the main living space, off of the kitchen.
Guest access
There are stairs to access the creek which measures about 2-3 ft deep without heavy rainfall. A great place for the kids to play or for you to set up a camping chair. There is a friendly duck by the name of "Daffy" that lives nearby and may pay you a visit during your stay.
Other things to note
The home is rustic, not modern and certainly has a country feel. A speaker and camping chairs will be available for use during your stay.

My fiancee and I reside locally with our children. We both grew up in the area and decided to permanently call it home after spending some time away. Our opportunity to host you helps to provide for our family and also gives us the privilege to keep the creek house as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of life.
