Dette er vores smukke sø hjem på Sunset Bay med en sandstrand på den østlige side af Mille Lacs Lake. Dette 3-værelses 2-badeværelse hjem indeholder et fuldt udstyret køkken med stort center ø. I stuen / alrum har et stort hvælvet loft med store vinduer ud mod gården og søen. Den store gård er plan, perfekt til spil som badminton, kroket, og boccia bold. Den sandstrand er lavvandet for en lang måder ud, perfekt til børn, uden ukrudt eller klipper. Vandet er krystalklart. Der er en lang dock med en stor båd lift. Har en bål på stranden, mens du nyder en smuk solnedgang! Også fantastisk til is-fiskeri. Tæt på Soo Linje Trail for ATV og snowmobilers. Småbyer butikker, restauranter og golf. 5 nætter minimum ophold i juni, juli og august (plus forår / sommerferie weekender); dog kan et 3-nat minimum ophold overvejes, hvis det ikke inkluderer en weekend, eller hvis der kun er 3 overnatninger mellem bookinger.

Kathy was great to work with and prompt to respond. The property is very nice and clean. Our stay was for four guys on the walleye fishing opener. We had plenty of room and found everything we needed for a great weekend!

Property was very comfortable. Plenty of linens and bedding. The kitchen is well equipped with everything, except we couldn't find a strainer. The host even provided containers from food for leftovers! One idea that would help would be a coffee table in front of the couch. This would allow guests to place drinks or books out of the way.Lots of room in the closets and shelves in the bedroom. Fans in each room to help on hot days.

Hi Robert! Thanks for the review. Actually, there are two strainers in the lower corner Lazy Susan cabinet. And the sofa has a middle backrest console that pulls down if you need cup holders, as mentioned in my Welcome Book. Sorry you missed that. We do have a new sectional sofa being delivered in August and there will be a tray on the ottoman for drinks, etc. Also, thanks for mentioning that we have plenty of fans in addition to the AC to keep the air circulating so the place stays comfortable! Thanks again for staying and hope you come back in the future.

Perfect place for adults and kids alike! It was amazing that there was a pack n play and small high chair seat. The sand beach is unlike any other spot on the lake!

It is perfect for a single family looking to relax but also wants to have access to everything the lake has to offer. The private sand beach and dock were great for swimming, and there is a resort a short 3 minute walk up the road that is open to the public. It has attractions for the kids and a restaurant and bar for the parents. Would definitely come again!

Excellent Property and Location

The house was very clean and Kathy was easy to communicate with. The location was amazing with a great beach, nice views and very quiet. I would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again.

Beautiful Home with amazing beach!

Wonderful place to relax, put your feet in the sand, and watch the wildlife. Water was so calm in this bay area. Walking distance of a resort with great restaurant!

Beach Getaway

Rode up for a short getaway. The house was in a great location, was clean and perfect size for our group of 4. The beach/lake was amazing. Water was clean and shallow. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic 4 Night Stay!

The cabin was just as pictured in the listing. The beach was perfect for swimming! Our two sons spent a lot of time in the water and playing in the sand. We enjoyed bonfires, fishing, swimming, and making countless memories! Check in and out was a breeze and communication with Kathy was amazing. Everything in the cabin and outside was so organized. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back in the future!

Great family getaway!

We chose this location due to the beach and lake access. It lived up to our expectations! The home was cozy and clean. It was the best stocked kitchen for any VRBO I have stayed in! We enjoyed our time away and felt like there was plenty of space for our four teen/young adult children too. We were thankful for the fans provided as it warm during our stay and they helped us feel more cool when inside.

Mille Lacs Family Visit

Nice lake home right on Lake Mille Lacs. Large yard with patio for relaxation. Gas grill, outside table and seating for pleasant visits with family. Inside of house was roomy, bright, with plenty of light provided by large windows facing lake. Hostess owner very available and accommodating. All in all a great place for our stay.

Perfect relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sunset Bay!! Just what our busy family needed! The house is beautiful and more than accommodating. We very much appreciated the stocked kitchen, 2 bathrooms and laundry The beach and dock are the best features! Nature Stepped In

The cabin itself provided a lovely place to stay. Sadly, we were unable to swim at all because of nature's onslaught of Mayflies, as well as green algae in the water .The main reason we rent a cabin each year is to swim, so our family was very disappointed.The stench of the dead Mayflies prevented us from even sitting by the lake or having a fire by the beach. This was out of the control of our host. She did try to locate a better beach for us.

Beautiful Cabin

We enjoyed our week at this beautiful cabin. It was clean and well cared for. We had our son and our grandkids (ages 6 and 8) staying with us. The swim area was shallow and sandy for quite a ways out with no drop offs. There was a sand bar out past the dock, which the kids thought was really cool! There was a good size lawn for the kids to run around and play. The resort right down the road had great burgers and sandwiches. They also had a small store with ice cream cones and candy. Kathy was super! Any question we asked was answered immediately. She was the most attentive host we’ve ever dealt with. The only con was that we were there the week MN experienced the extreme heat wave and having no air conditioning was quite uncomfortable a couple of days. Otherwise, it was a perfect rental!

Thanks, Sheila! I am happy to say we are installing AC at the end of this summer, 2023! Even though it is rarely needed, plus the nights usually cool off, it seems we are getting more and more days where it is! Hope you come back next summer!

Beautifully maintained, perfect setup for families

Great location with easy access. The house was perfect for small children. Very clean and well-kept. We loved the open floor plan on the main floor with the patio. We loved that so many kitchen items were provided for cooking. The backyard was great for kids to play ball and run around and a nice distance to the lake so as not to worry. The lake and shoreline were just as described - wonderful sandy bottom, shallow shoreline for lots of water play and sandy beach for kids to play in. We also enjoyed wonderful sunsets across the lake and Kathy had everything so well organized with chairs at the beach and the patio furniture. Kathy answered all of our questions and was available at anytime to assist us throughout the week. We enjoyed visiting the resort down the road for an afternoon treat and spent time in the City of Isle at their wonderful playground at the City Park. They also have a great coffee shop, shopping and the bike trail right out of Isle is paved. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing place to enjoy the lake and outdoors.

The pictures of the property are very deceptive-it shows this beautiful lake view. In reality it is a very narrow view-you mainly see the back of a garage. The yard is very narrow and long to get to the “beach “ but the beach is pretty grown up with weeds. Very unkept. I asked how the fishing was off the dock about a week before our trip and she stated her dock was wobbly and we probably shouldn’t fish off of it. The last day of our stay I told her about her reclining sofa being hard to close and she said she should have told us that because she knew. She said she had a new sofa coming later. There was no comfortable place to sit in the house. The toilet seat was broken on the downstairs toilet. The house is beautiful inside! We felt like the pictures were very misleading.

Linda, sorry you had some complaints about the property. You said the pictures were deceptive regarding the lake view and that the yard is narrow, but if you look at the website photos, it clearly shows the huge yard leading to the lake and the boathouse (not garage) near the lake. We do try to keep the beach on the south side of the dock graded, as you can see in your pic showing the neighbor’s house, but at least the weeds are not near or in the water. I didn’t realize the weeds on the other side of the dock have grown up so much and will get that taken care of. Our dock is extremely long and I did tell you the last section is wobbly, that’s why it is roped off. I did forget to mention that the footrests on the recliner sofa are hard to get back down once you pop them up. Otherwise, the sofa is very comfortable. A new sectional sofa is coming at the end of August. I wish you would’ve mentioned the toilet seat being wobbly/broken during your stay. After I read your review, I had my neighbor go over and check it and he said it was fine, so not sure what your complaint was. Otherwise, thanks for mentioning that the house is beautiful!

Thank you, Kathy for letting us stay in the cabin. We loved everything about it. The cabin itself is very neat. Our 2 daughters loved the stairway to the second floor. Everything we needed was provided. My wife and I enjoyed sitting at the end of the dock just watching the sunset on the horizon of the water. It was so relaxing! We could walk about 50 yards on the sand into the lake. Maybe further but it was a little chilly when we were there. Beautiful, relaxing, and vey accommodating vacation for our family of 4. Thank you!

Great getaway for families with small kids

Everything about this property was great. The yard, the beach, the WATER-so clean and warm and super shallow, great for small kids! The area was quiet. Communication with the host was quick and efficient. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet, relaxing getaway

We had a great time at this beautiful lake home! Our daughter loved the sand and shallow water! Convenient location with local shops, restaurants, Dollar General, and grocery store in town. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful! Definitely would recommend!

My husband, a home builder, built our lake home in 2005. We have so many great family memories here...bonfires on the beach, swimming, floating, fishing, taking long walks in the area, and just relaxing and hanging out. We know you will enjoy it as much as we do!

We chose Mille Lacs Lake because of the great fishing, clean lake, and we also wanted a sandy beach because we enjoy swimming, boating, and floating. We like being on the east side of the lake so we can enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
