SPACIOUS HOME WITH ROOM FOR EVERYONE: Our 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhome (1,880+ sq. ft.) is just 90 minutes from the Twin Cities, and nestled within the spectacular Izatys on Mille Lacs Lake. Each bedroom features a comfortable pillow-top queen bed, plus two extra bunk beds with twin mattresses, allowing up to 12 guests to sleep comfortably. The home includes three bathrooms—a full bath and two 3/4 baths—ensuring plenty of space for your group and no waiting in line!
EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A STRESS-FREE STAY: This two-level retreat is thoughtfully designed with all the essentials to make your vacation easy and enjoyable, including a fully stocked kitchen (dishes, glasses, silverware, pots & pans, coffee maker, small appliances, crock pots, etc), a spacious dining area (dining table with seating for eight and four additional counter seats), main-level living room overlooking the beautiful lake (featuring 40" TV, cableTV, Blu-Ray/DVD player, and high-speed WiFi), in-unit laundry facilities for mid-week refreshes, and outdoor Weber propane grill with grilling utensils (propane provided).

Hello! We are a family of five from the Minneapolis area, and we absolutely love the convenience of having our Lakeside Retreat less than 90 minutes from home. We look forward to sharing our lakehome with you... we know you will enjoy the Izatys Resort area and amenities!

My wife and I purchased this townhome in fall of 2025. We wanted a place on Mille Lacs Lake that was close to our home, and that had numerous amenities that we could enjoy with our children. Izatys Resort checked all of the boxes!

As we looked at different properties, we had numerous criteria; however, there were five things that stood out on our list, and this property had all of them:
1) Close proximity to Minneapolis (it is about a 90 minute drive via Highway 169, and located on the southernmost section of Mille Lacs Lake, for easy accessibility)
2) Plenty of space for family and friends (the townhome has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths with over 1,800 square feet, which can easily accommodate 12 people... our family and friends can visit without feeling squished)
3) A great swimming area for our young children (the swimming pools at Izatys Resort are a frequently used amenity, and the lake is also fun to swim in). The children would rank this as #1 on THEIR list of unique benefits.
4) A spacious outdoor area with level elevation (the Izatys Resort area has numerous acres of open and well-maintained grass areas, perfect for outdoor activities right on the lake),
5) Great fishing! We love to fish, and while this was not #1 on our wish list, we are thankful we were able to find everything above, plus GREAT FISHING! We do not believe there is a better lake in Minnesota to get the variety of fish (walleye, smallmouth, muskie, jumbo perch, pike), while also having the potential to catch a trophy. We have personally caught and released many trophy fish on this lake, including walleye up to 29" and smallmouth up to 21" and muskie up to 52" and northern pike up to 39"... the fishing can be an absolute BLAST!
