Kanai A Nalu 202 is a 2nd-floor condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that offers 1 window A/C unit in the living room, ocean and pool views, and a private washer/dryer. This property has elevators for easy access. Unit 202 can accommodate up to 6 guests. This spacious rental features a master bedroom with a king-size bed. The ensuite bathroom is designed with a walk-in shower and single-sink vanity. The second bathroom is located near the guest bedroom and resembles the first bathroom. The guest bedroom offers another king-size bed that can be converted to 2 twin beds upon request. In addition, a queen sofa bed in the living room offers additional sleeping space. Wake up to the soothing sounds of Maui, and be greeted by the radiant sun each morning. Whether you're getting ready for a day of adventure or winding down after a relaxing day at the beach, these bathrooms have you covered. This condo2 offers a beautiful living room that boasts large windows for you to soak in the stunning direct ocean views. With a well-stocked kitchen, you have the option to prepare your meals at 'home', enjoying them at the dining area set for 4 or on the private lanai while savoring the spectacular ocean views.

Kana'i A Nalu is located in the heart of Ma'alaea. This four-story resort sits on 3 acres of manicured grounds. Enjoy all the amenities this resort offers such as pool access, BBQ grills, and outdoor dining tables. Nearby there is access to Sugar Beach - also known as Kealia Beach. Sugar Beach is the longest beach on Maui and is perfect for a long beach stroll. This sandy shoreline stretches for about 2.5 miles (4 km), from Haycraft Park in Ma'alaea all the way to north Kihei.

Nearby you'll find many attractions, shops and restaurants. Walk to Maui Ocean Center (Aquarium), take a sunset sail or whale watching tour from the nearby harbor, play miniature golf and more at Maui Golf & Sports Park, or shop at the Maui Harbor Shops. Ma'alaea is located in central Maui, bringing you closer to many excursions such as Hana or Haleakala. The resort is about 15 minutes away from the Kahului airport and 30 minutes to Lahaina.

This unit was a good find. The location is amazing and we all loved having a balcony where we were feet from the water. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cooking apparatuses and even tupperware. The location was nice being further away from town and the complex was quiet. The shared BBQ were spotless, and the pool was small but nice. The only issues we had with the unit were the beds. They were VERY uncomfortable. There was also an issue with the cleanliness of the floor. The whole unit needs a good deep clean and mop. There was a ton of dust on the bathroom fan. We dunno if this is a common issue in Hawaii, but there were ant and roach traps out. Could have been from neighbors. Overall it was a good stay and the issues of the beds and the dirty floors could easily be remedied.

Our adventures

The location was good. We had some cleaning issues and 1 bed was very hard. We contacted the property manager and they resolved our issue the next day. Very accommodating. Would stay again.

Just what the MD ordered

The pictures, and description was spot on. As described. Perfect view, next to starbucks, the aquarium, and great little restaurant with 3 dollar mai tais and steak and lobster dinner for less than 20.00.

Great place

If you are looking for a ritzy place to stay, then look at the expensive places in Wailea. If you are looking for a nice, quiet, clean, central location, then look no further. This place checks all the boxes. We loved the location and took long walks on the beach daily. The pool is lovely and never crowded. Short walk to the marina where there are great restaurants and gift shops. We loved that the condo included beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers which we used daily. I was worried about the bedrooms not having AC but it was not an issue at all with the constant Maui breeze. My Perfect Stay had great communication with all the needed details and recommendations. We highly recommend this condo.

When we arrived the apartment was blistering hot inside. It took me calling property management to locate the ac unit … it’s a window unit sitting on the ground blocked by the entertainment center. So air flow is minimal at best. It took the better part of two days to get it cool enough… . Maintenance man came by day two , cleaned the ac filter and we agreed it was in a bad location and is undersized for the whole place. Mini splits would be way more economical.Once our friends arrived upon him taking a shower in their bathroom the drain was clogged instantly. He finished in our shower as it was draining. Don’t expect a powerful shower either , shower heads are the worst !!! Next day maintenance had the drains cleared. There is no beach , it’s a block wall that has been washing out and is marked to keep away about 40’ across . Views are good , . Sunrise is awesome if your up then . Pool is small but very clean and not overcrowded at all. Checkout … where to begin … check out is 10:00 am for some strange reason. We needed a 12:00 checkout time due to late flight back to DFW… they wanted 100 at first then 100 first hr and 150 each additional, never had that issue before til now. Read fine print
