When walking into the apartment, we were awestruck by the view! It more than met our expectations. I did not want to leave the place bc the atmosphere was so peaceful and inviting - good thing we brought our food! The bed was soft, comfortable, yet gave great support, and the 2 bathrooms had everything you needed for freshening up. We sat on the main balcony every day and evening, watching boats coming and going, as well as dolphins swimming in search of food. The sea gulls stayed around and we watched them diving for food throughout the day. One day we took the ferry to Dolphin Island and enjoyed driving around and then ate a late lunch at one of the restaurants. After taking the ferry back, we went to the beach! (We went to the beach 3 times while in Ft. Morgan) Since we are in our mid 70's, we drove to the beach road, parked and then took the walk with our chairs and towels and books. The beach was not crowded and looked very family oriented. My husband bought seasoned cook shrimp from Sassy Bass and they were delicious! The elevators were fast and available for us to take our bags and ice chests to the room. The short vacation of 4 nights was just enough to get the much needed rest that we had hoped for and this was just the place for rejuvenation. We hope to return next year.On a final note, Alicia contacted us about something we left in the apartment that was very dear to my husband. She is going to send it to us. So precious.Thank you Alicia!
