Great beach house! Super close to the beach! No golf cart needed. Do recommend being a cart to take things to the beach. Super responsive host. They were able to get dishwasher repaired very quickly as we had an issue with it during the stay. Overall, we had a great stay!

Large house and elevator was a plus as we are an older crowd. Other than having to purchase batteries for the TV remotes in some bedrooms and the internet connection going out frequently, we really didn't have any issues. We did have to add water to the pool as soon as we arrived because the skimmer was sucking air. There was sand all in the pool but it is a beach cottage and wind blows. Overall we loved it. Nicely decorated and clean. Ample room for multiple families. My only suggestion is if you rent the property for more than one day, you need to include enough dishwasher pods and laundry detergent to accommodate those days. My husband lost a navy emblem ring while we were there. Please let us know if you happen to find it. Thanks.

We're so glad Marlin Madness worked well for your group! Having plenty of room for everyone and an elevator to make getting around a little easier is definitely a plus. We appreciate the heads-up about the remotes, internet, and pool. We wish we'd known about those things while you were here so our team could have helped get them sorted out. And we hear you on the supplies! We provide a starter supply of amenities to get everyone settled in until they have a chance to pick up anything additional they may need during their stay. We're also sorry to hear about your husband's ring. We'll be sure to keep an eye out and let you know if it turns up. Thanks for choosing Port A Escapes. We're glad you enjoyed the home and had a great time together!

The place was very clean and nicely decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. The only glitch was trying to figure the elevator out. It was also bit of a problem for some of our group to not be able to take the elevator down from the second floor to the first without going through the garage.

The dish washer smell like fish. But it probably came from the person using it before us. But overall it was great. Nice sleeping areas. Oh and we had a few of our guest get locked out. We appreciate you letting us know about the hot tub, dishwasher, and door issues during your stay. Our team was happy to help after hours by adjusting the pool heat settings, walking through how the pool and spa system operates, and assisting with the door lock so everyone could get back in comfortably. We also cleaned the dishwasher filter and ran a sanitize cycle to help resolve the odor concern. Thank you again for your patience while our team worked through everything. Marlin Madness is a great house. Conveniently located in Banyan Beach off 11th st. Very roomy and well furnished. The kitchen is spacious and well appointed. Happy with the overall cleanliness. A very short walk over the dunes to the beach. A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend! We had a fantastic time at this beautiful, well-kept house. The location is unbeatable — close to all the downtown shops and restaurants, just a 5-minute walk to the beach, and near the marina and fishing areas. It was perfect for getting out and enjoying everything the area has to offer. The layout across three floors worked really well for our group. The second floor main living area was spacious and great for hanging out together, the first floor bedrooms made for a quiet, restful retreat, and the third floor bunk room (sleeps 4) was a hit with the kids. The elevator was a huge bonus — made hauling luggage and groceries up and down effortless. The pool was a highlight, especially on hot, sunny days. Being covered meant we could cool off without the sun beating down, and it also kept the water pleasantly cool.We did run into a couple of small issues during our stay — a hot tub that needed cleaning and an elevator handle on the third floor that wasn't working — but the owner resolved both within a few days of us reporting them. We really appreciated how responsive and attentive they were.Furniture shows some normal wear and tear, which is to be expected with a rental like this, but overall the home was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We'd absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great home base near the beach, marina, and downtown area!
