Gite du Calme Bed & Breakfast Cognac. Room Acacia for 2 people

Bedroom Acacia. This bedroom has a private shower room and toilet, it is on the ground floor, for easy access.

There is a single bed in this room for a child. Cot also available on request.

We are a family run Bed & Breakfast in Cherac à 10 km from Cognac or Saintes in Nouvelle-Aquitaine Région of SW France. We have a total of 3 bedrooms, it is very friendly and we have space enough for everyone.
All 3 rooms have their own private WC and shower rooms.
There is a large communal kitchen and lounge. The house is a traditional lime stone property built in 1890. We have a very natural, large garden with swimming pool, table tennis, 4m trampoline, bow and arrow (not Professional ) overlooking the vineyards and
forest.

We have a fully equipped communal kitchen with a selection of coffee machines, blender, dishwasher, and all kitchen utensils etc.
There is a large farmhouse table in the kitchen.

The lounge has very comfortable sofas books, games, TV.

The garden has a bbq, swimming pool,
4 metre trampoline, badminton, archery, swings, and table tennis.

Great for all ages. We are located on a hill amongst vineyards and forest. On the southside of the hill we overlook the Cognac vineyards and on the other side we are surrounded by forest.

Gite du Calme is managed by a family who are private hosts who live and maintains the property all year.

We are located between two main Villes, Cognac and Saintes, just 10 kms to either. There are many other small beautiful villages between those two villes also. We are just 2 minutes by car from the Charente river, where there is much activity.

We have many pop up restaurants all along the river in season and Cognac and Saintes have a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants open all year.

In season, you can hire paddle board, canoes and pedalos on the river.

As well as all that, we have a week long music festival in July called, Cognac Blues Passion and another called the Cognac festival.

There are many Roman sites to visit and and a whole choice of Chateaux, Cognac houses and the Beach at Royan to visit.

Not to mention the daily fresh food markets, restaurants, bars, boutiques and supermarkets.

It is a very creative corner too. We are lucky enough to show paintings from a local artist called Julien Graizely.

We have 2 cots if needed.
