Description of the property was very appropriate. We enjoyed our stay. Only drawbacks were the step into the house was a little steep and tilted and the water pressure in the kitchen and shower was a little bit low. We enjoyed the fire pit and slept well with peace and quiet

Great experience with quiet neighbors, dogs absolutely loved it and the cabin was very clean! Lake access was accessible and sturdy, enjoyed a lot of fishing and the canoe that was available. Driveway tight for big vehicle- only complaint was there was an old BMW that sat and blocked the main turnaround point. Loved the wildlife- the loons, deer, and toads of all sizes were adorable. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a very lovely stay. The home is exactly like it is pictured. Comfortable beds. We had great communication from the host. The highlight for us was the dock. We spent nights fishing and even caught two 5-7 lb small mouth bass. My son also caught is very first fish here so this place will always have a piece of our heart. Thank you! We look forward to coming back!

Lock box worked perfectly!Walked into a beautiful, clean, open concept kitchen dining living room area- 3 bedrooms, 1 bath - all clean and nicely decorated. Felt warm and cozy in the cabin. The walk to the lake along the little boardwalk was great with the wetland areas on both sides (larch, ferns, pines, native wildflowers )The view was gorgeous- with 2 chairs to sit and relax and a dock to walk out into the water a bit. We arrived in time for a stunning sunset and amazing starry sky when night fell. The bed was comfortable and good sleeping!The next morning, we went out to explore trails and got a check in call from Visit Up North just to see how our arrival was. Which we thought was very nice. The cabin had everything we needed - All in all in was a great stay! We would love to come back again! Thank you.

Great trip

Nice quaint location, although we thought we would be walking distance to Bellaire. Loved the cabin and it was close to trails in the area. We enjoyed our stay!

Disappointed Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: TV didn't work for entire vacation. Dock was a safety issue. Grill & fire pit filthy never cleaned. Cupboard door falling off hinge. No place to park my Truck&Boat to unload. Enough said.

Very clean. Bed comfortable. Linens and towels spotless. Cabin was perfect, we had a lovely time. Communication with host was very straightforward. We would definitely go back or rent from the same host again.

Peaceful cozy cabin by the lake

Cute, clean, cozy, quiet and very comfortable cabin. The cabin has everything one might need. We enjoyed the lake, reading on the porch and visiting Bellaire and Alden. Great communication with the property management co. Definitely reccommend..

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was cute and my family enjoyed the dock and having access to the lake from the property. Water pressure a little low in the shower but wasn't a big deal. We will definitely book again if ever in the area.

We loved having our dog and boat with us on vacation! We ventured out to Torch Lake, which was about an hour's boat ride, but it was totally worth it!! Having a dock at the house was great. The house felt and smelled like a cabin, but it completely served its purpose. I would have loved to be able to see the water from the house, but not a long walk to the dock to sit and watch the sunrise. For the price the place is great!

Cabin was very beautiful ❤️ the table busted and the walk way was a bit scary to walk on. We did have so much fun! We will be back again!!

Great Stay!

Based on last years reviews I was expecting this to not be very clean but liked that we could bring our dog. We had zero complaints about how clean it was so were pleasantly surprised. Maybe new housekeeping since last year. Other reviews really helped with understanding the dock area and boardwalk so that was as expected. We had a great stay!

Very Tranquil

Very nice location and cabin. In the wood and on the water. Perfect place for quite and relaxation and close enough to town for fun and good food. Our stay would have been better if the dock had been put out. Only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was so low it barely rinsed the soap off.

Cute and cozy cabin. Only issue was that the door should have a keypad for easier access. Door box with key was difficult to get open. Outdated. Was quiet and peaceful and very comfortable. Would recommend having mirrors in each room as there is only one bathroom. Was decorated nicely in cabin decor! Communication was excellent and would definitely stay again!

October weekend

We spent the weekend with 2 other couples to relax, visit the brewery, see the colors, and visit the area. The cabin was a great location and was comfortable overall. The walk to the lake was beautiful and it was a nice quiet area. The beds were a little soft for our group but might be great for others. The coffee pot was a bit slow brewing for us....we were all coffee drinkers and needed our morning java. Overall, we would stay again.

Enjoyed out stay!

Overall the cabin was exactly what I expected and the photos matched the cabin. The interior/exterior was a little dusty. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Several of the light bulbs were burned out but property was prompted in bringing more. The path to the lake was a bit of a hike, but the new dock was nice to take in the pretty view of the lake. I would stay again, as it was a restful and peaceful vacation.
