This place was perfect for our family! It was very clean and had everything we needed. There were just a few maintenance items that, if addressed, would make this a 10 out of 10. The pool was the star of the show for our kids. Communication via email and text was too slow to be effective, however, the phone service was very friendly and always available. I would recommend this place to anyone with a young energetic family.

The house is great, fully furnished/stocked and very pet friendly. We stayed there last year as well, and the dogs remembered the place and felt right at home! We love the fenced backyard with lots of grass, for peace of mind with the dogs, and love that it has a pool as well. Overall, very happy with the house and our stay. Will definitely be going back!

Fantastic Place

Clean, modern place with comfortable beds and big showers (+ large soaking tub). Owner is great to work with and we were thrilled with the two decks and large back yard (fully fenced) that our dog loved. A bit far to the beach, but you can buy a parking pass ($12) that lasts the year and drive up. Plenty of food choices a short drive away. Will stay again for sure.

Last vacation before school

The Dapper Dolphin was exactly as we hoped. It was beautifully decorated, nice large kitchen and super fun game room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were larger than expected. The kitchen island was perfect for pancake breakfast. The fenced yard was perfect for the dogs. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and Welcoming

The Dapper Dolphin was a great place for my family and i to stay. We went for a much needed vacation and this place was the best place we could have stayed. When you have kids of all different ages sometimes its hard to please them all, however the Dapper Dolphin definitely delievered just what we needed. There is a game room and a pool so all of my kids were definitely satisfied. Having something they all could do made relaxing for my husband and i so much easier. I highly recommend this place for anyone but especially those with kids.

Quiet and peaceful time away from home.

House was just as the pictures showed. Very clean and comfortable. Beds were just right, not too hard, not too soft. Would even make Goldilocks happy. We did not cook as we were out sightseeing during the day and not back to the house until late. Nice drive into Corpus Christi to see a couple of Hooks games. Would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Great house with pool

We enjoyed our stay in this house and the pool was an added plus! The house was very clean and comfortably fit the 8 people we had. The kitchen was well stocked, which we appreciated since we enjoy cooking our meals on our vacation. The location was close to the center of town and the beach. We reached out to the property management a few times with questions and they were very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again! The only improvements we would note is 1) the pool could use some more shade, but we just put up a shade canopy near the pool 2) the burners on the propane grill were pretty worn out and should probably be replaced.

We just finished a 4 night stay at Dapper Dolphin. We thought the upstairs living area was great and very comfortable. The rooms were spacious, bathrooms were clean, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. However, the game room is not as pictured and it felt like false advertising to be honest. It was a trip for my son's 7th birthday, so naturally the game room was most anticipated by him. Unfortunately, most of the games were not operable. The air hockey table didn't work, the ping pong table was warped so we couldn't play, the darts were all dull or broken so we couldn't play that either. The pool was pretty, but the chairs outside were awful and very uncomfortable. There were all kinds of pool toys left out from someone else that were gross from the rain that came through. The zero scape area also completely flooded when it rained, which weather is weather, but the owners should address the flooding issue as well as the game room if people are going to be charged what we paid. We enjoyed our stay, but I wouldn't not rent this house again for my family.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we're glad the upstairs living area, the spacious rooms, the clean bathrooms, and the fully stocked kitchen worked well for your family. We're sorry the game room didn't match what you and your son were expecting, especially for his birthday, and that several of the games weren't in working order. We're also sorry about the condition of the pool area during your stay. Those concerns have been shared with the team responsible for the home so they can be inspected and addressed, and so the listing details can be reviewed. We appreciate you taking the time to lay this out.

Beach vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dapper Dolphin house. The house is very nice and has everything you need. The neighborhood is nice. We would definitely rent this house again. The hosts responded immediately to my questions. We enjoyed the pool and are grateful for the fenced in backyard for our dogs. We enjoyed playing games in the game room as well. We did get eaten up by mosquitoes every time we went outside. Make sure you bring bug spray. The front bedroom and the guest bathroom are only separated by a sliding door just for future renters.
