We understand that having three bedrooms was an important requirement when choosing this property, and we recognize how frustrating it must have been to arrive and discover that the sleeping arrangements had changed. The bed was removed after the fire inspector determined that the room could not safely be used as a bedroom because it did not have a window. As a short-term vacation rental, we are required to follow fire safety regulations and the instructions provided by the fire department to ensure the safety of our guests. The fire department notified us of this issue on the morning of your check-in, leaving us with very little notice. While this explains the timing of the situation, we sincerely apologize that we did not notify you of this change before your arrival. We understand that you should have been made aware of the change as soon as possible so you could make an informed decision about your accommodations. Our team did offer alternative properties for you and your group to consider. However, we understand that the available options were not comparable to the property you originally booked and did not fully meet your group's needs. Unfortunately, those were the only available alternatives in our inventory that could best accommodate your group at the time, and we regret that we were unable to provide a more suitable option. We appreciate your kind words regarding the property's location, views, and cleanliness, and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed those aspects of your stay. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the listing and amenities, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve the guest experience.
