Spring Break in STL

We stayed 3 nights at this property with our 3 teens. The loft was great, something different than a typical hotel or rental. Staying downtown in the loft definitely gave a unique "city" feel to the experience. Loved the decor - kudos to the artist! Great views of City Museum, Union Station/the Wheel, soccer stadium, downtown buildings & even the top of the Arch. Easy drive to Forest Park & The City Foundry (a favorite and unique place to eat and play for our family - check it out!) The building was quiet, some smell of weed typical of a city stay. The garage was a little tight but not too full, so it was manageable. We were thankful for it as there was quite a bit of police activity around at night. But we felt safe overall, walking to City Museum with older kids, etc. We used all the beds, including the rollaway. The blue couches fold down for sleeping - they were ok for our 13 year-old but probably not super comfortable for an adult. There's an extra charge per person/night for the extra beds and linens. VRBO didn't automatically add those charges at the time of booking so we were initially unaware of this. They did attempt to add them later after everything was paid in full, but the host Zeina was an advocate for us and after some conversations it was resolved. We appreciated her attentiveness, you can tell she is quite dedicated to her properties & business. I wanted to leave a detailed review because others here are not representative. We had a great stay!

Host canceled last minute after confirmation

I booked this VRBO for a weekend getaway. Received a confirmation email after booking along with a message in the app with details about our stay. The message also says I would be contacted closer to arrival with additional details (parking, entry, etc). Fast forward to arrival day, we are traveling to the destination and I go looking for a new message with details but there isn’t one so I reach out to ask. When the host responds, I’m told they double booked and we’re cancelling my reservation. I’ve never had something like this happen. I placed my trust in VRBO and was completely let down. It put us in an awful position to find something last minute. VRBO was no help. I was extremely disappointed with my experience and it will definitely affect my confidence in booking with VRBO again in the future. Very frustrating!

This space is a GROWN and SEXY Clubhouse for ADULTS! It is not recommended that small children stay here. It is not an environment for babies and small children ESPECIALLY multiples. Keep in mind that it is a residential suite with neighbors.

This is a one bedroom open loft floor plan that can accommodate a group of 6.

*1 Queen beds sleep 2 people (Upgrading to King soon!)

*1 futon in front corridor which I consider a 2nd bedroom to help
accommodate larger groups. (Room divider is available for more privacy

*2 Futons in living room sleeps 1 person each

*Twin size roller bed sleeps 1
*In total this loft can accommodate 6!

There is a $40 charge per night for every guest over 2. For example, 6 people 4 will pay $40 per night of stay.

So, if you have 2 extra guest stay 3 nights that is an additional $240
$40 per guest x 3 nights!

The space is designed for 2 people however, it can accommodate 6. Extra guests require extra cleaning and linen. The $40 per night accounts for that. Please keep in mind that no hotels in St. Louis can accommodate 6 people!

The extra guest fee must be paid in full prior to arriving to suite to ensure that you have enough linen for all of your party! It is guest responsibility to send payment!
