Hang out on the deck with a full view of the lake, and take advantage of the private dock, canoe, and two kayaks. It’s all set for you to enjoy the water and make the most of your time here.

Very good spot, especially if you have dogs. Private dock area, great view from the deck, and it’s fairly quiet too. There’s no microwave or oven, but that’s honestly not a big issue. Still have a grill and convection oven, plus takeout options in the area. There’s no AC but if you open the windows you can get a cool breeze going at night that it doesn’t overwhelm.

The host was a great communicator, every question was answered immediately. When I asked about an extra car for one night it was no problem. The camp is as described and very cozy in a nice way, the screened porch was great! The deck down by the water was perfect for watching the water and the swimmers without getting your feet wet. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property. My only reservations were that there were a couple of “punky” boards on the main deck under the rug and a hole in the boards that had been covered with a milk crate. Some of the pans had been put away with egg still in them and needed a scrubbing before we used them. Both things are easily fixed and based on my communication with the host I expect they will be.;;;

Rustic cottage

Beautiful, picturesque lake with abundance of nature. We enjoyed watching the loon family as well as the eagles. We even caught a glimpse of the beaver. Fishing was good. The lake was quiet with only a few jet skis and speed boats.

Quick getaway

Nice. Quite. Close, mid week short getaway for me and my fiancé. Over all I really liked the place. If the grill was fully working it would be better and just want to watch out for the door handles on the fridge and freezer, they are broken and the ladder coming out of the water on the lake, that is not fully attached, and there was a broken chair by the fire pit. But again over all this is a nice quiet peaceful place

We appreciate your feedback on the grill, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused by the malfunction. Please note that we have since replaced the grill with a new Weber model. We also appreciate you pointing out the issues with the refrigerator door handles, the lake ladder, and the broken chair. While the missing handle does not affect the fridge's functionality, we have replaced the chair after noticing the crack to ensure there are new chairs at the property. Not worth the cost

While the view from the house was beautiful, the house itself leaves a lot to be desired, especially for how expensive it was. The day before we checked in, we received a note that the grill was partially broken, and the fridge handles were broken. The kitchen does not have a stove, there is nothing bigger than a love seat to sit on, and there was dog hair on the furniture. The setting is peaceful, but the overall quality of everything in the house is far below what they charge to stay in it.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the grill burner issue. The burner recently malfunctioned, and unfortunately, we couldn't replace it as quickly as we'd hoped. We have since upgraded to a brand new Weber grill at the property. Regarding the pet-friendly nature of the home, while we make every effort to maintain cleanliness, it is stated in the listing that the property accommodates pets. Despite our thorough cleaning, some traces may remain. Additionally, please note that the home is not advertised as having a stove, so we are unsure why there was an expectation for one. Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your feedback.

My fiancé and decided to take our 2 dogs up to the cottage. We’ve never taken them anywhere because they can be a bit of a handful to say the least. So finding a place that took dogs was great. Our host were extremely accommodating for us with check in and check out which really meant a lot for us. We came up from Boston and really didn’t want to hit afternoon traffic so we came up a bit earlier than our scheduled check in time and they got the place ready for us in a rush. We rented a boat and had it dropped off at the lake so the dock was great to have to hook up too. The place was as pictured and a genuine cottage style home. The house was clean and the bed/linens were as well. It’s an extremely quiet spot and a good place for a small family or couple to get away and get our noses out of our phones. The only thing that was a challenge was the heat without any a.c and the fans weren’t doing quite enough. Not the end of the world and it does clearly state this and we were aware heading up. But I ended up going to Walmart and buying a small air conditioner and a decent new fan. (I left the fan to help out but I did return the air conditioner on the way home. It was a small window unit. We put it in the main bedroom opened up the door and it kept the whole house cool the entire time. Bottom line the house was just as we thought and we are grateful for the time we got to spend up there. I wouldn’t hesitate to go again. Thank you!
