Spacious!

A very spacious room that housed our party of 6 with still extra rooms! A calm neighbor hood that’s close to many location to go eat or nightlife! A/C came in pretty clutch since humidity could kick some butt if not used to it. Only downfall was the dryer did not work during our stay. Overall I had a great experience! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting NOLA.

Cute house in a neighborhood that's not too busy but still enough nearby (coffee, market, brunch). Very glad to find a place with enough space for 5 adults to be comfortable.We had a few issues housekeeping to start with that were dealt with promptly by the host and sadly the hot tub wasn't ready for use.

Quirky little home

This place served a nice distance from all the attractions and was not difficult to get to. Check-in was easy and it was pretty much as listed. Definitely an interesting layout, but the fact that it does have five bedrooms and three bathrooms makes it great for parties. The hot tub was not cleaned so we were unable to use, but we would not have had time to use it anyways as it was. Overall, you’re looking for a close place to New Orleans attractions and don’t mind a little quirkiness then this is your place.

Short Stay

Pretty much as shown in the listing. Found the back patio could have been cleaned up better, beer cans, lots of tree droppings, etc…. Hot tub needs repairs and cleaning. Minimal furniture for comfortable seating.

large house with great location

pleas read entire review.the reason i did not give more stars was because of cleaning issues that were resolved with help from owners. the house has been totally redone. kithcen has great applances and all 5 bedrooms have great tvs. it is hard to find tvs in all bed rooms and with kids that is important. location was great close to canal street car. i wouls highly recomend this house.

Nola Trip

Overall the property was good and the location is literally 5 mins from bourbon street. Parking is kind of a task if you’re traveling with more than two cars. The kitchen was upstairs, so if you’re traveling with older adults be sure they can go up and down the stairs. Only thing I can say that was a con was we didn’t get a chance to get in the hot tub because it wasn’t cleaned for us. That’s the only reason I took a star away. But overall me and my family were very pleased with our stay and will probably try to stay again if this place is available.

Fleas

The house had fleas. We all left with multiple bites. The furniture was very uncomfortable. The hot tub had dirty suds so we couldn’t use it. The bathrooms were not as clean as they should have been. The hot water didn’t work downstairs but they apparently did come and fix it while we weren’t there. The fleas were a big turn off as none of the people in my group have pets at home to have to come and deal with that on vacation.

Bachelorette Trip

The property was easy to find with GPS and was easily accessible from the road. Parking was easy and getting into the house was a breeze with the door code. The house was very clean and well organized. We loved that the kitchen was upstairs which gave us a nice view of the city around us. The floor plan was open and the rooms were very clean. The backyard/courtyard was clean and had ample amount of seating. We loved our stay and would likely stay again!

NOLA TRIP

We felt safe during our stay. We had some electrical issues but the owners were very quick to respond. It is not fancy but fit our needs perfectly.

We left and got a refund

The property could be very cute. However, we booked for the private hot tub and garden area and it was a mess. It clearly hadnt been cleaned in months. The chairs and table were stained and filthy. The water in the hot tub was green and filter area was black. The half bath was out of order and towels in the bathrooms were stained and falling apart.I will say the property managers were good abt giving me a refund for the total cost, but if there had been an event going on, we would have been stuck. And none us wanted to sleep in that house...

Some bumps, but overall a good spot

When we showed up, the house was freezing without power and had no water upstairs. The hosts were able to get someone out to fix it within a short amount of time, and we had a great rest of our stay.The house is within walking distance of downtown. There are a ton of good food options nearby .

It was well renovated and there was plenty of parking! It was a little cold on the bottom floor and the upstairs was a little warm. We made it work but definitely challenging to make everyone happy with the temperature. Loved the bottle of wine they left for us! And the hibachi place on the corner was to die for! Overall loved our stay!

We were looking for something that would fit our large group and that was close to the center. We felt safe in the neighborhood. The house was very basic but had everything we needed.

Solid place to crash during NOLA visit

This property certainly met our needs as all 7 people had their own rooms (2 couples). The hot tub was a huge added bonus. The space was clean and comfortable. Could use a few finishing renovations to really make it amazing. Nothing flashy. Neighborhood is not the greatest, but you could certainly stay somewhere way worse. The hosts were incredible. Constant communication, checking in on our needs. Close proximity to the cable car to get to Bourbon Street. If you need a lot of beds in a fairly central locale, this is certainly a good option.

Horrible Stay!

The home looks beautiful on the website and has the potential to be great. Unfortunately the property is owned by people that never check on their property. When we checked in someone was parked in the driveway that we had to deal with the entire stay. We ended up having to call the police to threaten to tow the car because the owners aren’t in town to handle their own business. CONS: broken dryer, broken light on back patio, sink in bathroom stopped up, fan/light in bedroom electrical messed up, maintenance at the home everyday we were there to fix things and they were ALL still broken. The MAIN issue was bed bugs and fleas everywhere. Especially the sofa and blanket in the living room. My family members were bit multiple times all over their bodies. I complained to the owners multiple times via the VRBO sight and multiple calls. They didn’t help with anything at all. They expected us to handle the neighbor situation. I spoke with another neighbor and she stated she’s never met the owners of this property she only sees maintenance and housekeeping in and out of the home. That tells you they never check on their property. Unfortunately we had to stay in this home because we were in town on business and there was no where else to stay. I spoke with VRBO and they apologized for the inconvenience but stated their was nothing they could do if the owners didn’t want to provide a refund. Even with the pictures and videos and screenshot conversations I emailed to VRBO. Do not rent!

Perfect Location

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The listing was just as described, the host was extremely attentive and would respond to my message in a matter of minutes. The home was just a short distance away from top New Orleans attractions. Would definitely recommend!!

Birthday Trip

Power went out and was told the breaker always does that and to go outside and turn it back on. It kept happening and we were without power over night and half next day and it was freezing. Someone finally showed up to fix and he told us it wasn’t anything he could do. So I had to ask if they had another property and luckily they did but we wasted a whole morning freezing and then moving places which costed more money in uber/lyft rides. The place looked like it hasn’t been cleaned and it’s not in the best condition but we were willing to look past that but we could not get past the no power and couldn’t shower without heat because it was very cold. The property they put us in were better conditions but neighborhood is sketchy and the bar across the street is very noisy all night. I would pick that property over the mint green property anytime.

Good chill spot

Good location. Very little furniture. Transport is easy. Hot tub is great size. Pool man came to clean while we stayed. Wish there were more things available to keep the place clean. Fly swatters and so forth
