The home is stunning, exactly as advertised. There was plenty of room for myself, husband, grown children, and their children. The view is amazing!

The Bay Estate is an absolute gorgeous property. However, host was not good at communicating and CLEANING CREWS NEED TO DO BETTER JOB!We had 11 mo old and 16 mo old babies with us; on day one, crawling and walking on the floors turned their knees/feet brown; the floors need a good mopping. The grill/sink and outdoor area was filthy, sent pictures to host, no remedy.The conservatory waterfall was not operating; asked if it could be turned on, no response. Plants in conservatory in desperate need of water and dead leaves need to be cleaned up. There is a steady drip in pipe in conservatory. Told host, no remedy.We couldn't locate a carafe for drip Cuisinart coffee maker. Host said they would check but we didn't hear back. When we arrived on Monday, 7/20, the 3 trash bins by the gate were full, when departing on Friday 7/24, the 3 bins were still full. We reached out to host asking what we were supposed to do with garbage, they stated garbage pickup is Friday and they would be back in touch on what we needed to do if they weren't empty Friday when we checked out. We did not hear from them so we left bags by bins. There were no kayaks on property as stated in information; if you are not going to provide kayaks, take them off your information.We replaced batteries in 2 of the tv remotes.THE BAY ESTATE IS A BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY (kitchen appliances are high quality, enormous kitchen table is a huge plus for large groups). Issues we had can be easily remedied.

What didn't come through was the standard of care that should have met you on arrival, and just as importantly, the responsiveness you deserved when you reached out during the stay. That's a real gap, and we're sorry. Every one of the concerns you've raised has been shared with our team and with the relevant departments so they can be reviewed and corrected properly, and we appreciate the time you took to lay them out so clearly. You're right that these are fixable, and we'd genuinely welcome the chance to show you what this property looks like when it's held to the standard it should be.

This property is fabulous. We had a large group and needed to rent both the main house and the cottage. We all could fit at the dining room table in front of those giant windows facing the bay. The kitchen was incredible, and we prepared most of our meals for the whole crowd right there. The outdoor kitchen/grill came in very handy. The beauty of the woodwork and architectural details in the house can be appreciated for hours. But the ultimate hook for me was the setting: with the pond and its wildlife out back, and the bay and all the beautiful landscaping out front; and, of course, the pier, which the whole family delighted in. All this and I haven't yet mentioned the hundreds of yards of private beach that we enjoyed. We had a few small issues with some items in the house, but the property manager responded quickly with maintenance personnel. This house is peace and quiet, serenity, beauty, nature, and refreshment. It just feels good being there.

Beautiful and relaxing place! Our whole family had an amazing time! I would definitely recommend this place especially for larger groups. My only ‘complaint’ was the communication and response to problems or issues we had during the stay. We either received no response or very delayed: examples were thermostat initially set to a warmer than comfortable setting, leaking fridge, and security system that kept beeping. We did get the thermostat fixed after about 3 hours but no response on fridge or security system. Both issues seemed to resolve after 24 hours but started again the last night. Not sure what the problem was but never got a response.
