Welcome to The Marram Shorehouse — your private waterfront getaway on the quiet shores of Scotland, Maryland. Just 90 minutes from Washington, DC, this serene setting invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and soak in the rhythm of the tide right from your doorstep.

With 7 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms spread across two spacious levels, the home comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests. Each floor features its own fully equipped kitchen, cozy living area, and private entrance—ideal for multigenerational families or two groups traveling together. Gather for shared meals, game nights, or movies, then retreat to your own floor for quiet time.

Inside, large bay-facing windows fill the home with natural light and ever-changing waterfront views. Open-concept living spaces, comfy seating, and thoughtful touches create an easygoing coastal atmosphere perfect for every season.

During warmer months, spend your days kayaking, exploring the shoreline, or collecting shells along the private beach that appears at low tide. Important Information:
A signed rental agreement and list of all overnight guests (names and ages) is required before check-in.

Three outdoor security cameras are located on the property: one facing the driveway, one facing the side patio, and one facing the waterside entry and bay. There are no cameras inside the home or in private spaces.

The shoreline is a mix of private waterfront lots and common areas. Please enjoy the beach directly in front of the house and avoid setting up chairs, towels, games, or other activities in front of neighboring homes.

Guests should bring their own firewood and charcoal for use with the fire pit and grill.

Furnishings and décor may evolve as we continue to refresh the space. If a particular amenity is essential to your stay, please reach out before booking so we can confirm details.

Before You Book

We want our booking process to be simple and transparent so you know what to expect.

• The primary booking guest must be at least 25 years old and must stay at the property for the entire reservation.
• When submitting a booking request, please tell us a little about your group and the purpose of your stay.
• Before we approve your booking request, we’ll send you a copy of our Rental Agreement to review. Please read it carefully and reply through Vrbo confirming that you agree to its terms.
• Once your reservation is confirmed, the Rental Agreement will be sent separately via BoldSign for electronic signature.
• Only registered guests are permitted at the property. Parties and events are not allowed.
• The Marram Shorehouse is a pet-free and smoke-free home.

Once your reservation and Rental Agreement are complete, we’ll stay in touch and provide everything you need for your stay, including arrival information and access details closer to check-in.
