This place is amazing, great views, very clean and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed more than two days. Host is very accommodating.

The property was lovely and privately situated with a beautiful and breathtaking view. We were met by a family of Deer each morning as we had coffee on the expansive rear deck. Our host, Brenda and were accommodating, informative and extremely easy to communicate with. As a property manger in another state I appreciated their attention to details that made this property very welcoming and a cozy get away. The interior was well appointed and white glove clean. I highly recommend Gratitude View as your next mountain stay, you will not be disappointed. You have our Gratitude for allowing our family to enjoy your memorable home above the clouds. This cabin was a great place for myself and family to stay for a last minute weekend getaway. Everything was a described and the view was beautiful.

Host was very welcoming, had all the amenities we needed. House heated very well during our very cold stay! View was beautiful and we took lovely walks. Will definitely go back!

Everything you could want and more. Beautiful view and very well appointed home. We have stayed at many homes across the country and this place stands out with all of the personal touches, including welcome snacks, books, puzzles and games.

Your home is very cozy and helped to make our quick trip relaxing. Warm touches with the snack area and coffee bar. We loved the view and enjoyed the absolute silence and peace on the deck. Host was quick to respond; much appreciated. Thank you!

Get-Away Trip!

Lovely! The house has a beautiful view and sits in a beautiful wooded neighborhood. The kitchen was nicely appointed, which is important for guests that love to cook. Would stay here again!

Gratitude View is the perfect mountain escape just off the Blue Ridge Parkway — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by stunning views. The cabin is spotless and thoughtfully furnished, blending cozy charm with modern comfort. We loved the morning coffee station, the beautiful sunset from the back deck, and the quiet setting, all of which made it easy to unwind and recharge. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. A truly relaxing getaway — we can’t wait to come back!

Want to come back!

We had a wonderful weekend with family. The kitchen is well stocked, you can find whatever you need. You should bring extra towels. One bath towel per person is not enough for 4 sisters!

Weekend Stay at Gratitude View

What an incredible house to spend the weekend at! The view is spectacular, the house is spacious and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay the best! Definitely a return place for us. Just a great spot to relax and enjoy company of family and friends. The beds are extremely comfortable and rooms are all spacious. Enjoy coffee from the nice coffee bar out on the deck while the sun comes up, you won’t regret it. Thanks for an awesome place to stay! Highly recommend. Did I mention the VIEW!

Meticulously planned…

We brought our traveling companions to experience the gifts of Gratitude View. Here are their comments. “Meticulously planned….furnishings were comfortable in all the rooms. Many niches to find peace and quiet and also open space to gather and party. The deck overlooking Pilot Mountain was positioned to see both the sunrise and sunset perfectly!!!! The kitchen had all we needed to prepare scrumptious meals. Overall we loved your beautiful house and thanks for sharing it!”

Best of the best – picturesque and perfect

This charming mountain retreat welcomes you like a warm hug when you walk in the door. The main living space and deck offer mesmerizing views of Pilot Mountain and the valley below promoting one’s sense of equanimity that soothes the soul. The cabin is spacious, beautifully curated, and meticulously organized. You’ll have everything you need in this quiet, peaceful, pristine environment. Brenda and Karen are gracious, attentive, extraordinary hosts. They provided valuable information about the house, activities and events in the area, as well as detailed directions to the house as soon as we booked the cabin. We highly recommend Gratitude View the next time you need to unplug and unwind. We’ll certainly be going “…back to THAT cabin.”

No Routines, Very Relaxing!

This home was SO nice! By far the most clean home we have stayed at using VRBO. The views are breath taking. It is as if you can see forever. So quiet, just birds singing. We went from having everyday routines to doing nothing and enjoyed every second. The host have done such a great job on taking care of the guest in this home. My favorite things would be, Coffee bar and stocked. Views off the deck. Nice furniture. Very private setting. Plenty of room in all rooms. Great water pressure in the shower. Binoculars to look at the views. The night time off the deck looking over the Piedmont and all the lights of the valley below at 3,000 ft. Right off the Blue Ridge Parkway and close to many neat and fun things to do like Mt. Airy, home to Andy Griffith. The host contacted us and asked if we needed anything. They have been great. We can't wait to go back and spend more time and relax.
