A Dream Getaway

Villa Poggio Scalette was truly a dream place to stay on our vacation. The pictures cannot do this beautiful home justice - you have to see it for yourself!! The view, the amazing property, the Tuscan touches in the decorating with all the modern amenities - we already cannot wait to go back!!! We slept so comfortably and had everything we needed at the house for some relaxing afternoons and evenings enjoying wine, good food, and the view :) Our host Simone was very communicative and so helpful with tips of local places to visit and to eat. The location was perfect for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, etc. and the town of Montecatini Therme has plenty to do as well. We have traveled a fair amount and this is by far our favorite place we’ve ever stayed.

It began with a serendipitous meeting between a charismatic Italian guy named Roberto and an adventurous American lady (Lauren). United by love, our lives are a blend of the rich Italian heritage and the boundless American spirit. Living in the USA, we find ourselves drawn back time and again to Roberto’s hometown to take in Tuscany's tranquil beauty, to a villa that has become a second home to our family of five.

Our villa is more than just a property; it's a testament to a life lived with joy, surrounded by the laughter of our three sons and the peace that only Tuscany can offer. Each corner of the villa becomes a backdrop for family gatherings, spirited games amidst the olive trees, and quiet afternoons under the sun, with the scent of lavender and the gorgeous stretching to the horizon. We've crafted every aspect of our villa with care, ensuring that it serves as a luxurious retreat where families can come together to relax and create memories. From the well-appointed bedrooms that promise to the gourmet kitchen where meals turn into feasts, each element is designed for comfort and elegance.

When we're not basking in the Tuscan sun, we're living our everyday lives in the USA. It is a joy for us to share this personal haven with you. Our home is your home, a place to unwind, laugh, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life with those you love.

The serenity and privacy of the property is everything you dream of for a Tuscan retreat, yet you are only minutes away from 5-star restaurants and spas, as well as a large grocery store complete with a pharmacy with anything you need when traveling with a family miles and miles from home. It's the perfect blend of history, peace, and comfort.

It's the blend of the old world touches - with artisanal pieces of furniture dating back to the 17th century - with all of the comforts and amenities you expect in a modern luxury home. We comfortably stay there with our 3 small children and have plenty of space; we want truly for nothing. Plus, our team of local experts are there to ensure you have a flawless experience throughout your stay.
