Heated Pool coming March 2026 to Driftwood Dream! Golf Cart Included!

Beautiful new home on the west end of Saint George Island where you will enjoy spectacular sunsets over the bay. Golf carts gather every evening at the end of our street to bask in this beautiful scenery. We have a view of the bay from three bedrooms as well as the beautiful porches, family room, and dining area.

We are a quick golf cart ride or 0.3 mile walk (2.5 blocks) to the award-winning Gulf of Mexico beach. Saint George Island is known for it's laidback island vibe and beaches that are never crowded. Saint George Island State Park was ranked as the #1 best beach in the U.S. in 2023.

We have a ping pong table, indoor games, books, and puzzles to enjoy on your vacation. After a hot day on the beach, rinse off in our outdoor shower. We are in the golf cart friendly district of the island, so you can take the provided golf cart to the shops, restaurants, island playground, and the lighthouse.

The exterior steps lead you to the first floor of the home. This floor has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, the laundry closet, and a covered porch. The first bedroom is a large master with in suite bathroom. This bedroom opens to a large covered porch with rocking chairs and an egg chair swing. The second bedroom on this floor is a queen bedroom. The third bedroom is kid-friendly with a full-size bed and a twin trundle underneath. Each bedroom has a smart tv.

The interiors stairs lead you to the kitchen, dining area, living area, and master bedroom. The kitchen is nicely equipped and includes a Keurig coffeemaker for single cup and pots of coffee. The dining table has seating for six at the table and three additional chairs at the counter height bar. The family room includes a 55 in. smart tv, a sofa, and a love seat. There is a large covered balcony off the living and dining room with views of the bay. Balcony seating is available so you can enjoy the scenery while drinking your morning coffee. We have books, games, and puzzles available for rainy days. The bedroom on this floor has a king size bed with water views from each of the windows. There is a bathroom across the hall from the bedroom.

We offer smart tv's in each bedroom and free internet so that you can log in to your streaming services.

The home was beautiful and very welcoming! We had 4 adult couples and we had ample room. The view to the bay is stunning and the golf cart was a welcome addition to drive around the island. The views from the 2 balconies was also great. I don't know if I have enough space to say how wonderful everything was for our long weekend. The home, the host the island all 5 star!

Relaxing Family Vacation

The house was beautiful and very clean. We loved all the amenities that came with the home that made us feel so comfortable. I love the "beachy" decor and the spacious rooms. My family made some core memories and we would definitely return.

Great home for families!

We stayed here over the holidays with family. The house is beautiful, the location was great. We loved the golf cart for getting around. There are a lot of stairs at the home, so it might not be a great option for elderly or disabled.

Beautiful Home

This home was beautiful and cozy. There’s plenty of room, and it is a short golf cart ride to the beach. My kids had a great time, and we would recommend this to anyone looking for a great family vacation at the beach.

Amazing

The house was beautiful and was perfect for all of us. The host was so nice and quick to respond whenever needed. All of the neighbors were so nice and it was great being able to meet up at the end of the road and watch the sunset with them all each afternoon.

Great place to stay!

We loved our stay! The house is lovely, nicely decorated, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. Beds were comfortable! We really enjoyed the location; every evening we walked the short distance to the bay side of the island to watch the sunset. The walk to the beach is a bit further but manageable (less than a 10-minute walk), and the golf cart was a huge convenience for those who didn't feel like walking (mostly we made the teenagers walk, and the adults rode!). The outside shower was also a huge convenience. The owner seemed very accessible. We would stay here again!

This is a beautiful home and a quiet, relaxing location. Having the golf cart to ride around and get to the beach was a huge plus! Tammy was a joy to communicate with and was quick to reply if we had any questions. Thank you!

Driftwood Dream is a dream!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Driftwood Dream! The location to the beach and the bay is perfect.. the sunsets are not to be missed! We enjoyed having a golf cart... and the ping pong table! The house itself is charming and has a pretty bay view! Everything you need for a perfect vacation is at Driftwood Dream! Tammy is a wonderful host and always replied quickly to any question I had! We can't wait to go back!

We are from Georgia, but we fell in love with St. George Island on our first visit 15 years ago. We had always gone to Panama City Beach previously, so we were surprised to find such a beautiful beach away from all the hustle and bustle. We have wonderful memories with our family on St. George Island. We love that we are away from the mainland and can just relax and unwind. The beaches are never crowded, and the sunsets are spectacular. St. George Island is a great place to enjoy time with your family.

We love the west end of the island, because we are in the golf cart district. We love riding to the little shops and the restaurants in the golf cart. Our house is on a sandy road which we think adds to the island vibe. At the end of our road, golf carts gather every evening to watch the sunset over the beautiful Apalachicola Bay.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Our home was just completed in December. We offer an outdoor ping pong table and paddleboards. We have a nice view of the bay from most rooms in the home.
