This is the best vacation rental our family has ever stayed at! The location is incredible, we saw bald eagles and herons and the most wonderful water views. The house is stocked with everything you could ever need for a stay. The listing is accurate, except I think it undersells just how wonderful it is. It's tastefully decorated, the labeling is super helpful, and the view cannot be beat. The hosts have truly gone above and beyond to consider what their guests need.

We absolutely love this beach house!The view, especially the sunsets, are beautiful, and the sound of the waves are soul soothing. Annette is a fantastic host who seems to have thought of everything. The house is really well appointed and very comfortable. The location is also great.

Great little beach house. Just right for a couple to get away with great access to Oak Harbor and the beautiful Coupeville and adjacent to Joseph Whidbey state park. Everything about the property is nice… even being along a semi busy beach road wasn’t all that noticeable. The constantly changing view out the window made it hard to want to leave to go do something else thanks to the variety of birds, occasional seals and otters too!

We loved our stay. Everything we needed was there. Stayed with our 6 and 9 year old and they loved the oceanfront. Planes out of the nearby naval base could be noisy, but that was our only complaint. Otherwise great location to explore the island

Highly recommend! We stayed two nights with our two college-kids and 10lb pup. The house is on the smaller side for four adults, but very comfortable for a short stay, and the view is so amazing that we spent much of our time outside on the deck enjoying it. The hosts are incredibly communicative and thought of every detail to make the stay as comfortable as possible - honestly they are among the best hosts we’ve ever had! The house looks exactly like the photos so there were no surprises and the view is even better!

We had an amazing adventure on Whidbey Island with so many wonderful places nearby to explore. The Orcas Sunset Beach House accommodated all of our needs and made our stay exceptionally comfortable. By far, it was the most thoughtfully and extensively stocked vacation home we have ever stayed in. Every detail seemed to have been considered, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time. We highly recommend it and would gladly stay again! Thank you, Annette!

This is our second stay here, it exceeds expectations each time we’ve been. The hosts think of everything to make the stay special. They even decorated for Easter and had baskets for my kids. Beautiful views, well supplied home and always a great stay. Thank you!

I've stayed in countless vacation rentals across the world, this is by far the best stocked house I've ever stayed in - with so many considerate items that I can't believe no one has thought of before. You are ON the beach, close up and personal with the water. However if you want to be *walking* on the beach you'll need to find an access point. The beach is only accessible with low tide, even then you'll have to scramble over kelp covered rocks. There is a path that's part of a state park that runs along the beach 2 houses down. I think the 'lack of beach access' is island wide. The whole wall of the house that faces the beach is all windows, the view is gorgeous. Would 10/10 recommend.

The setting and home were both lovely. The sea is so close that when the tide is in, it feels like being on a boat. The home was spotless and everything carefully labeled. The changing moods and views of sea and sky were endlessly fascinating. I planned to explore this end of my island while there, and never left home for 7 days. I took long morning walks with my 2 small dogs, as long as 3 hrs when the tide was out. Then a sunset walk each evening, too! A truly wonderful getaway. Also, the owner sent a welcome text with entry instructions and was only a text away for questions. Perfect week!

Cozy and impressive location right on the beach. We enjoyed watching the sunsets, bald eagles, and even caught a glimpse of a harbor seal swimming past the shoreline. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils. Everything we needed for our family vacation. And, the location is just a short walk to the state park! Five Stars.

Recently renovated cottage, right on the water front. Close to both Oak Harbor and Coupeville. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and baking.
