Comfortable accommodations in a delightful location, with panoramic views of Penn Cove and beyond. Well-stocked with supplies and activities for vacationers of all ages. Owners were responsive to any of our questions…about the cottage and the area. An awesome family getaway!

Wonderful location! Love seeing all the wildlife. Situated between Oak Harbor and Coupeville is good for activities and food. Short drive to visit Langley. Best ice cream around is in Coupeville at Kapaws Iskreme. Three Sisters local market at the corner carries Whidbey Pies! Captain Whidbey's has delicious fine dining and signature drinks. The dark chocolate gateau is a must.

This place truly has everything you need. The couches and beds are incredibly comfortable, the water view is beautiful, and everything was spotless. You can really see the attention to detail throughout, and the outdoor space is so thoughtfully designed. We had a wonderful stay!

We would love to stay again! There were many amenities & helpful things if you forgot to pack something. The view was stunning, && the beds were so comfortable! The host even let us know when we may have been able to see northern lights on our stay. They were very communicative and helpful hosts!

This home was an exceptional retreat. It was just right. Not too big, not too small, the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. Kind hosts, easy to find what we needed, well stocked with all the essentials. The views were spectacular! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

Everything was fantastic at Sandpiper Haven!! Julie and Peter provided everything you could imagine. The BBQ worked great, the house was clean, and the owners were easy to get in touch with. Fantastic place. We highly recommend it.

This place was amazing! Very comfortable and the views of Penn Cove from the back windows, the decks, the fire pit, the beach…. Julie goes over and beyond on making sure your stay is wonderful! Close to State Parks, Mount Erie, Anacortes, the naval station…. Everything is nearby. We would go again!

Julie and Peter go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds are clean, the bathrooms have extra stuff in case you forget something, the second room has stuff for little kids, and the overall spot is fantastic. The view from the house over the bay is gorgeous and the private beach made it so we had very little to worry about while everyone explored. Its conveniently located between Oak Harbor and Coupeville with both being about 10 mins away. This is a spot to revisit once you find it!

If I was making another trip to Whidbey, without question, I would choose Sandpiper Haven again and again. The location was perfect for exploring all of Whidbey and beyond. Communication was excellent. Sandpiper Haven was very clean, kitchen and bathrooms very well stocked and we felt the comforts of home. We enjoyed the private beach and view of Penn Cove from the privacy of the back deck. It was wonderful. Thank you for extending your home to us and the attention to all the details!

Great communication with the host. The Haven is well stocked w/amenities, linens, favorite small appliances, and entertainment options (get outside!). Great central locations to enjoy every trail on the island. Most surprised to find quite a few of our favorite books on the shelves, including an ancient one on the children's shelf that I had read in grammer school.

Enjoyed shops in Coupeville, more in Langley. AC not needed in the cool/wet climate of spring (March). Did geocaching along the many trails nearby. Captivating views from the house/deck. Perhaps a note in-house to explain the frightful noise of the Growlers twice (or more) times a day.

Our home is located 10 miles south of Whidbey Island Naval Air Station (NAS) and falls outside the highest noise impact zone on the island. Training flights are sporadic and depend on many variables, and we typically only notice the aircraft when they deviate from their standard flight path. In 15 years of hosting, you are the first group to mention the planes as a concern. We're happy to share the noise impact map or answer any questions for prospective guests.
