Captain's Quarters is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, newly updated home, on a quiet cul-de-sac with direct access to and partial views of Bourne Pond. This loop home has been completely updated in 2023 with a fresh new look, complete with all new paint, ceilings, floors and furnishings. An easy walk or quick bike ride less than a half mile to Menauhant Beach and a smaller neighborhood beach (Foster Rd), you can be at the gorgeous Vineyard Sound in no time. Captain's Quarters has everything you need for the perfect Cape Cod vacation.

Walk 2 minutes to a private access to Bourne saltwater pond where you can swim, clam, kayak to the ocean, and paddleboard. Pack a lunch and stop along the way and spend time at Menauhunt Beach. 2 Kayaks and 2 SUP's provided with rental!

Enjoy lunch on the patio or screened in porch and then take a stroll or a quick 5 min bike ride to the beach for an afternoon of swimming and sun. The walk to the beach has sidewalks leading to quiet gravel paths making it an easy and safe walk with kids. Kayaks, paddle boards, beach chairs and umbrellas are all available to our guests, as well as all linens, including beach towels.

The first floor boasts a large eat in kitchen with a fireplace and a table that easily fits 6-8 people as well as an island that fits 4 comfortably. The first floor also has a cozy family room with sectional and TV, an office with a queen sleeper sofa and TV, a master bedroom with queen bed, and a full bathroom with a shower and full size washer and dryer.

The second floor has two oversized (front to back) bedrooms; one with a queen bed, two twin beds, and flat screen TV, and the other with a queen bed and a full size futon couch. The second floor also has a full bathroom with tub.

Captain's Quarters has central air conditioning and an outdoor shower as well! There is a spacious yard with plenty of room for yard games and a patio with a pergola, dining table and chairs and a gas grill for those summer backyard barbecues!

Note **** The yard is being completely re-done in April 2024, complete with a fire pit, Adirondack chairs and new landscaping for all to enjoy.

Our family has rented vacation homes in Cape Cod for over a decade now. This year we finally decided to purchase a vacation home of our own with the hopes of not only making memories with our own children but sharing our home by renting it to other families who love Cape Cod and Falmouth as much as we do. We live outside of Boston and are on cape as much as possible. We will do everything in our power to make your rental experience smooth, enjoyable and positive. After years of renting we hope we can avoid the mistakes we have suffered from as renters in the past! Our goal is to provide such a great experience that you will want to rent from us for years to come. We love the idea of returning renters who will love and cherish our home like we do.

Captain's Quarters sits on a beautiful, quiet dead end street with breathtaking views of the salt waters of Bourne Pond on 3 sides. It is a light, airy and open home with lots of natural light and ocean breezes. It is cozy and calm and evokes a relaxed vacation vibe the minute you walk in. The location of our property and the lower Davisville neighborhood is one of our favorite things about the house. It is under a mile and just a short bike ride or walk to several beaches, under a 10 minute drive to the Island Queen which allows you easy access to Martha's Vineyard, 10 minutes to Falmouth Heights with its great restaurants and beaches and a 10 minute drive to Falmouth Center for shopping and dining and entertainment. It is also only 15 minutes to Mashpee commons and under a 10 minute bike ride to the Shining Sea Bikeway. The location allows you to enjoy everything Falmouth and the surrounding areas has to offer!

Our family has taken great pride in restoring this amazing property and it is now ready to be loved and enjoyed by families looking to experience all that Falmouth has to offer. With access to a saltwater pond right out the front door and just a short walk to Menauhant beach the location cannot be beat. You can be in Falmouth Heights in 5 min and Falmouth Center in 10 min. You can hop on a Ferry and explore Martha's Vineyard. This is a home not a house and we hope we have set it up for renters to truly relax and enjoy their cape cod getaway.
