Enjoy relaxing on the balcony from the second floor with sunset views while in the heart of Downtown Mount Dora. This fabulous property is located within steps of the historic downtown featuring great shopping and dining experiences. Known for its antique shop (located outside the downtown district), annual festivals, award winning dining and live music, you are guaranteed to enjoy yourself. Mount Dora hosts many different daily activities for you and the family from festivals, markets, segway tours, boat tours (day or night) on the chain of lakes, catboat rentals, walking paths, bike trails and boating rentals, all within minutes to you. We have ghost tours as well as a wonderful taste of the town tour which can be private to your own group or alongside new people. Perfect for a fun girls trip, milestone birthday getaways, wedding parties and more. Our 1185 sq ft apartment has been newly renovated in 2024 to give all guests the home away from home feel with cozy and vibrant colors to ensure a great stay.

The Sunset property is in impeccable condition and ready to charm its guests. The fun colors as you walk in the door immediately bring a smile to your face. The space is welcomed by a fully equipped kitchen, brand new stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer, dining room space, coffee bar, living space furnished with sectional leather couch to enjoy Lake Dora views from inside or from the balcony. Also outfitted with a 65 inch smart TV, internet provided giving you the availability to log in to any of your streaming devices (no cable). Our sunset retreat has two bedrooms. The primary bedroom is located off the living room with one king bed, sitting chair and its own 55 inch smart TV, walk-in closet and linen closet has its own balcony view and space to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets of Lake Dora, FL. There are two separate bathrooms, adjoining the two bathrooms is a bathtub/shower set privately between the primary bath and second bath. The second bedroom has a bunk with a twin on top and a full size bed on the bottom, sitting chair and closet.

Our property is set for you to come and park your car. Be ready to enjoy the outdoors, fabulous dining experiences and wonderful shopping. We can't wait to have you!

Fantastic location.

Perfect location in the heart of Mt Dora. Very pleasant unit with a great deck to relax and watch sunsets over the Lake. Friendly & Helpful host , will definitely book again.

Right in the heart of downtown

Great location to explore Mount Dora. Communication was easy. The unit was clean and welcoming. Be aware that the metal framed bunk bed in the second bedroom was kind of flimsy. It rocked and moved from the slightest touch. We were four adults and that bed less than ideal for our party. That said, the top bunk has no railing and it would have been worse for children.

Generously sized apartment with waterview and almost unbeatable downtown location, and priced that way. Some updating needed (shared shower in that bridges the two bathrooms), perhaps a new bathroom fan (screeching sound) and missing amenities (kitchen carving knives, coffee scoop), prevent this from being rated 5*. Albeit, above could be viewed as minor annoyances, given the apartment location and the updates that have already been made (new appliances/floors, big TVs, and nice furniture).Definitely would consider another short-term rental and kudos to the owner (whom we happened to meet) for being hands-on and very responsive.

Unforgettable Weekend

This property is picturesque. Beautifully decorate, and updated. Our hosts were very fast with communication, and helped with anything we needed. The apartment was spacious, and comfortable. The location you just can’t beat. Sunset views in the evening, with the perfect lake breeze. Steps from the downtown restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Central Location!

Lovingly decorated upstairs lake view end unit. Very comfortable and convenient to all things Mount Dora. We were sorry to leave! Property Manager was very responsive to our needs.

It was wonderful! Location was fantastic and the apartment is so cute, clean and comfortable. Shower needs some TLC but overall it was a great time. I will definitely be staying here again!

Anniversary Weekend

Celebrated our Anniversary here during the Blueberry Festival! Easy access and just a few steps away to all the great restaurants and shopping! The apartment is well appointed and clean. Great balcony to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon sunsets.

Amazing place in a perfect location!

What a spot! This beautiful living space is just steps from the lake, a variety of restaurants and bars, and all the historical landmarks. The kids had a blast fishing while we shopped and dined. If you have teenagers, you know it’s not an easy task to make sure everyone is happy on family trips. You really couldn’t ask for a better location. This is a very well-appointed apartment with everything you need and it was super clean. Our host was extremely helpful and communicative. We can’t wait to come back!

Great location; clean and comfortable apartment!

This location is an easy stroll to Mt. Dora’s downtown district to shop and dine. Easy check-in, great communication with owner. A parking permit is assigned by owner to allow parking on the premise which made unloading and loading our belongings easy. This is a bonus in downtown Mt Dora. The apartment is roomy, clean, and beautifully decorated. Amazing views from both the living and master bedroom of the lake and majestic oak trees. The Kitchen is well stocked. This is a must stay!
