PRIVATE COUPLES' SUITE WITH OCEAN VIEWS IN LAS CONCHAS, ROCKY POINT – Vistas de las Olas West is a private suite located just one row back from the beach in Las Conchas, Rocky Point (Puerto Peñasco), Mexico, offering a stunning view of the Sea of Cortez. This cozy, self-contained retreat sleeps 2 and is a mirror image of its sister unit, Vistas de las Olas East — the two can be booked separately or together for larger groups.
LIVING AREA – Beautifully decorated in warm, inviting colors with traditional red Mexican tile floors and decorative tile detail throughout. The comfortable living space includes a couch and chair, plus Satellite TV, DVD/VCR, and a surround sound stereo system, with extra videos, CDs, books, and magazines available.
KITCHEN – A well-equipped kitchenette includes a microwave, small refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, and breakfast bar seating, along with basic cooking utensils, dishes, and flatware. (Please note: no stove or blender.)
BEDROOM & BATHROOM – The bedroom features a queen-sized bed with a beautifully tiled headboard and matching end tables, while the spacious bathroom offers a walk-in shower with detailed, charming tilework.
OUTDOOR SPACES – Enjoy a large outside patio and sundeck, ideal for lounging or catching the ocean breeze, complete with a propane BBQ, hibachi, and outdoor shower. The beach is just steps away with easy, direct access.

It was clean and comfortable and the view was great. The only big issue we really had was that garage parking was advertised but there was actually no garage accessibility. Otherwise, we loved it and would stay again.

Loved loved loved our stay. The only thing is that you need to bring your own pillows. No stove or hot plate so you can cook. Only a microwave. And the shower head is awful. No water pressure at all. None of that was a big deal for us. And we will book again definitely! The positives are the view and the easy access to beach. Its super quite and about 10 mins from town. Beaches were clean and not busy. Make sure you go see Dante at the tiki hut down the way and tell him Doug and Angela sent you. He makes a killer shrimp cocktail and quesadilla. Its right on the beach with killer views.

This quiet place was perfect for my weekend stay in Rocky Point. Las Conchas beach offered great morning walks with an excellent variety of sea shells and tide pools. Traveling alone, I felt very safe at this property. I had some neighbors who were also quiet and private like me. I loved that it was a five minute walk to the beach and that I could watch the dolphins play every morning from the spacious veranda. The bed was luxurious and the sheets perfect. Walmart is nearby, so I grabbed some groceries ahead of time so I wouldn't need to leave once checked in.Note: There is a garage, but not available for tenant use. The electric skillet is old and my meal stuck to the bottom, it should definitely be replaced soon. Thank you! I'll definitely be back.

Excellent location, view and access to ocean. Very helpful & easy check in process. Generally clean but rough around the edges. The rental has very limited general supplies which was disappointing such as: 2 spoons, no hand soap, 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, 2 bowls, no serving bowls, 1 kitchen hand towel, no dish towel though need to wash dishes no dish draining rack… we made do. I suggest taking your own supplies as if “camping”.

Perfect spot

The condo was absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. I was traveling alone and only needed a small space. The location and accommodations were just right - a nice clean space with a kitchen and everything I needed.

This was such a cute place! I came here with my daughter and son before school starts. Such an awesome time! The beach view from balcony is beautiful! The distance to the beach from our door was literally like 2min. Very quiet. Clean. Definitely will come.bqck.Upon checkin at Oceana everything was fast and smooth.All the guys were great! And helpful! We came during the week Tuesday-Friday so there was no traffic and no waiting at any restaurants or malecon. Such a relaxing trip!

The place was cute with a great view, an outdoor shower down below (not sure if officially part of property we rented), good A/C (albeit scary sounding like a motor revving) and basics for cooking I think. We didn’t cook though. Could use another soup spoon and 2 more pillowcases to go with pillows. Americans like lots of pillows. And couch is getting a bit worn/torn so could use refreshing. TV was far, small and an old box type. We just watched on our computers. But we were really happy with the place. Beach to ourselves, beautiful sunsets, water was spectacular.

Such a pretty view and the house was easy to access; however, the place was a bit hot the living room area felt nice but the bedroom and bathroom did not get much air flow which made sleeping uncomfortable I say either get better blinds or offer a fan during summer. Other than that it was a a good stay. Would book again.

Overall the property is exactly as it looks with a beach view. The unit was clean upon arrival, everything was set up nice up until that same night there were hundreds of ants everywhere. I proceeded to reach out to the host and I was left with no replies or anything. Then durning the night the unit had a power outage that lasted 9 hours. Meaning there wasn’t any ac, everything we had in the fridge went bad or melted, can’t charge phones, no access to wifi. During the outage I reached out to the host and I could not get ahold of him. After multiple attempts I went ahead and contacted the emergency numbers that were provided to me and still the communication there wasn’t good. It wasn’t till after reaching out to support and trying to find a solution, that the property manager and the host wanted to help with a “relocation” but I was still told that it was gonna take even longer. I think given the circumstances I should have been reimbursed for a night stay since we spent majority of our day 2 in the car cooling off or changing our phones and on the phone with vrbo support. I would like to add that if we didn’t run into a power outage issue that this review would be a lot better.

We're truly sorry your stay was affected by the unexpected power outage and the ant issue — we know how frustrating that must have been, especially without AC or refrigeration in the summer heat. While the outage was part of a wider issue in the area and unfortunately out of our control, we recognize that communication during that time could have been better. We've since taken steps to improve our emergency response to ensure guests are supported more promptly moving forward. Regarding the ants, this is not something we've had complaints about in the past, but the combination of high humidity and lack of airflow due to the outage likely contributed. As a precaution, we’ve already had the property professionally treated to help prevent any future issues. We truly appreciate your honest review. It means a lot that you still enjoyed the home itself, and we’d love the opportunity to welcome you back for a smoother experience in the future.

First time in Mexico - great location with significant issues

Check-in was Friday around 5pm and was just ok. Finding the actual location was a bit confusing but once we did, the view and access to the beach was worth the extra effort. The view was the only acceptable aspect for this rental. We never got to experience the beach from this location because we were never able to get settled. Once we arrive, unpacked the car, and cooled off the casita with the AC unit, we soon discovered the fire ants all over the floor and kitchen countertops. There was no running water or working electricity in the unit. The AC and ceiling fans were the only working electricity. We drove 4 hours and unable to use the restroom once we checked in. My husband is diabetic and was unable to store his insulin in a working refrigerator. After waiting at least an hour for maintenance to arrive and attempt to work on the issues, we were offered the unit next door as a solution only to discover that casita also had no electricity, running water or working toilet. Almost 2 hours later, we had to pack up, reload the car and move to a new, much smaller location with less of a beach view than what we paid for for the duration of our stay. The second location was just ok. We had issues with WIFI connections, no plunger for a toilet that broke the final day and no maintenance to arrive after confirming with Oceano Rentals they had arrived and fixed the problem. NONE OF THIS was acceptable and made our first visit to Mexico an unpleasant experience. We were offered two choices after settling into the second location: 1. 15% off our next rental. 2. Check out Saturday afternoon and receive a full refund - after having to move to another unit hours after arriving Friday evening. We understand resolving electricity and running water is beyond control of the management company, however, it is not unreasonable to expect a management company to confirm/verify that these essential services are working PRIOR to taking money for a VRBO rental. After multiple phone calls between Friday to Sunday to Oceano Rentals, we were not happy with this experience and felt none of the issues were not resolved to our satisfaction. We will NEVER rent a VRBO associated with Oceano Rentals again!

i loved the tile work, breathtaking views of the ocean and very close walk. i loved that it was still close to the city center but far enough away from all the riff raff. we were there during the week when not as many tourists are there which we like however the “tourist-y” activities like going to bird island and kayaking were not operating as there wasn’t the clientele. we did enjoy horseback riding on the beach and getting a massage. the instructions to the place were very clear. part of me liked have to go to the rental office to pick up the keys and talk to an actual person and part of me dreaded having to make that stop on the way in and out, the office location isn’t too far from the bnb but perhaps in the future they’d move it closer. the electricity went out one night and it did get quite hot in the bnb but it’s not exactly a problem the host could have helped! water was very clean and we felt safe brushing our teeth and showering in it.

Nice suite, close to the beach

This is a nice property BUT, when checking in, ask to make sure the management Company - Oceano, has made sure the water tanks have been filled! We had no running water or ability to flush the toilet for the 1st night. Unacceptable! Oceano did resplendent quickly and rectify the situation, but it shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place

On our way hear our reversion we’re canceled so we had to book a different place to stay

Liked the property hated the fact we were forced to make other more expensive Accommodation because too hours before check in time we were forced to find another place
