Vistas de las Olas West is one of two charming suites located just one row back from the beach in Las Conchas, offering a stunning view of the Sea of Cortez. This suite is a mirror image of its sister unit, Vistas de las Olas East. You may rent one or both suites. Each suite accommodates 2 guests.

LIVING AREA
The suite is beautifully decorated with warm, inviting colors and features traditional red Mexican tile floors and decorative tile throughout. The living space includes a comfortable couch and chair, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Entertainment includes Satellite TV, DVD/VCR, and a stereo system with surround sound. Extra videos, CDs, books, and magazines are also available.

KITCHEN
The kitchenette includes a microwave, small refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, and breakfast bar with seating. Basic cooking utensils, dishes, flatware, and cleaning supplies are also provided. Please note, there is no stove or blender in the unit.

BEDROOM AND BATHROOM
The bedroom features a queen-sized bed with a beautifully tiled headboard and matching end tables. The spacious bathroom includes a walk-in shower with more detailed tile work that adds charm and character.

OUTDOOR SPACES
Enjoy access to a large outside patio and sundeck, ideal for lounging or enjoying the ocean breeze. The suite also includes a propane BBQ, hibachi, and an outdoor shower. The beach is just steps away, offering easy and direct access.

COMFORT AND CLIMATE
Ceiling fans and central heat/AC ensure your comfort year-round.

POLICIES
Sheets and one set of towels per person are provided. Owner requests no smoking inside, no pets.

Excellent location, view and access to ocean. Very helpful & easy check in process. Generally clean but rough around the edges. The rental has very limited general supplies which was disappointing such as: 2 spoons, no hand soap, 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, 2 bowls, no serving bowls, 1 kitchen hand towel, no dish towel though need to wash dishes no dish draining rack… we made do. I suggest taking your own supplies as if “camping”.

This was such a cute place! I came here with my daughter and son before school starts. Such an awesome time! The beach view from balcony is beautiful! The distance to the beach from our door was literally like 2min. Very quiet. Clean. Definitely will come.bqck.Upon checkin at Oceana everything was fast and smooth.All the guys were great! And helpful! We came during the week Tuesday-Friday so there was no traffic and no waiting at any restaurants or malecon. Such a relaxing trip!

The place was cute with a great view, an outdoor shower down below (not sure if officially part of property we rented), good A/C (albeit scary sounding like a motor revving) and basics for cooking I think. We didn’t cook though. Could use another soup spoon and 2 more pillowcases to go with pillows. Americans like lots of pillows. And couch is getting a bit worn/torn so could use refreshing. TV was far, small and an old box type. We just watched on our computers. But we were really happy with the place. Beach to ourselves, beautiful sunsets, water was spectacular.

Perfect spot

The condo was absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. I was traveling alone and only needed a small space. The location and accommodations were just right - a nice clean space with a kitchen and everything I needed.

Such a pretty view and the house was easy to access; however, the place was a bit hot the living room area felt nice but the bedroom and bathroom did not get much air flow which made sleeping uncomfortable I say either get better blinds or offer a fan during summer. Other than that it was a a good stay. Would book again.

Overall the property is exactly as it looks with a beach view. The unit was clean upon arrival, everything was set up nice up until that same night there were hundreds of ants everywhere. I proceeded to reach out to the host and I was left with no replies or anything. Then durning the night the unit had a power outage that lasted 9 hours. Meaning there wasn’t any ac, everything we had in the fridge went bad or melted, can’t charge phones, no access to wifi. During the outage I reached out to the host and I could not get ahold of him. After multiple attempts I went ahead and contacted the emergency numbers that were provided to me and still the communication there wasn’t good. It wasn’t till after reaching out to support and trying to find a solution, that the property manager and the host wanted to help with a “relocation” but I was still told that it was gonna take even longer. I think given the circumstances I should have been reimbursed for a night stay since we spent majority of our day 2 in the car cooling off or changing our phones and on the phone with vrbo support. I would like to add that if we didn’t run into a power outage issue that this review would be a lot better.

First time in Mexico - great location with significant issues

Check-in was Friday around 5pm and was just ok. Finding the actual location was a bit confusing but once we did, the view and access to the beach was worth the extra effort. The view was the only acceptable aspect for this rental. We never got to experience the beach from this location because we were never able to get settled. Once we arrive, unpacked the car, and cooled off the casita with the AC unit, we soon discovered the fire ants all over the floor and kitchen countertops. There was no running water or working electricity in the unit. The AC and ceiling fans were the only working electricity. We drove 4 hours and unable to use the restroom once we checked in. My husband is diabetic and was unable to store his insulin in a working refrigerator. After waiting at least an hour for maintenance to arrive and attempt to work on the issues, we were offered the unit next door as a solution only to discover that casita also had no electricity, running water or working toilet. Almost 2 hours later, we had to pack up, reload the car and move to a new, much smaller location with less of a beach view than what we paid for for the duration of our stay. The second location was just ok. We had issues with WIFI connections, no plunger for a toilet that broke the final day and no maintenance to arrive after confirming with Oceano Rentals they had arrived and fixed the problem. NONE OF THIS was acceptable and made our first visit to Mexico an unpleasant experience. We were offered two choices after settling into the second location: 1. 15% off our next rental. 2. Check out Saturday afternoon and receive a full refund - after having to move to another unit hours after arriving Friday evening. We understand resolving electricity and running water is beyond control of the management company, however, it is not unreasonable to expect a management company to confirm/verify that these essential services are working PRIOR to taking money for a VRBO rental. After multiple phone calls between Friday to Sunday to Oceano Rentals, we were not happy with this experience and felt none of the issues were not resolved to our satisfaction. We will NEVER rent a VRBO associated with Oceano Rentals again!

Nice suite, close to the beach

This is a nice property BUT, when checking in, ask to make sure the management Company - Oceano, has made sure the water tanks have been filled! We had no running water or ability to flush the toilet for the 1st night. Unacceptable! Oceano did resplendent quickly and rectify the situation, but it shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place

On our way hear our reversion we’re canceled so we had to book a different place to stay

Liked the property hated the fact we were forced to make other more expensive Accommodation because too hours before check in time we were forced to find another place

Only one thing that was a bit of a negative is that the room is on the north west corner. So this time of year it is very hot and when you check in the a/c is off. It took most of the two days to get cool and the windows are rounded at the top so there is no blinds to keep the afternoon sun out !

The private parking space provided additional security. We would return!
