Welcome to our Cozy Lake View Retreat, where tranquility meets comfort in a picturesque setting. Leave your worries in this spacious and serene Matthews Beach neighborhood. We create an atmosphere for guests to unwind and connect with nature in a comfy space with original mid-century modern furniture. Only blocks from Matthew's Beach & Burke-Gillman trail, this charming escape promises an enchanting getaway from everyday hustle.

Step into a carefully curated space that seamlessly blends modern comfort with timeless design. The retreat showcases my own handmade furniture and handpicked furniture from Herman Miller, Inform Interior, and Ligne Roset, creating an ambiance of sophistication and relaxation. Large windows frame breathtaking views of the lake, allowing you to connect with nature without sacrificing luxury.

Unfortunately, due to a family member's severe asthmatic reaction to dander, we are unable to accept any animals, including service & emotional support animals.

The interior boasts 3 bedrooms for guest use, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 living rooms, and 4 bathrooms.

The main floor is an open-plan space that overlooks the views and features a vaulted ceiling. The Master bedroom offers a queen-sized Tempur-Pedic ProBreeze mattress, a walk-in closet with hangers, and an en suite bathroom fitted with a premium heated bidet toilet.

The lower floor includes:
The 2nd bedroom with a standing work desk and a Herman Miller Aeron chair. King-sized Beautyrest Black mattress, a closet space, and a bathroom with a heated/bidet toilet and shower directly across the hall.
The 3rd bedroom with a queen-sized mattress, closet space, and an en suite bathroom also fitted with a heated bidet toilet.
Washer, dryer, kitchenette, gas fireplace and a 2nd living room are also located on the lower floor.
For safety purposes, please use the handrail while going up and down the stairs. Children will need assistance on the stairs.

The house is shoe-free and non-smoking/vaping.
While we consider our home child and family-friendly, please note that the home is not child-proofed, so do not leave children unattended.
