We had a wonderful stay at your home, and communication was excellent, especially since you were kind enough to accommodate our last-minute request to check in a day early.Unfortunately, that positive experience came to an unpleasant end when we were leaving. A gentleman approached us without introducing himself and, in a rather rude manner, asked whether we had turned on the pool heater. We hadn’t—we didn’t even know there was a pool heater, much less how to operate it. He didn’t provide any further explanation, simply turned around and walked away. It was an uncomfortable and unnecessary way to end what had otherwise been a very nice stay. The house itself was as described. The beaches are all well over a mile away, so you will need to drive, but there were plenty of beach towels and chairs, which was a great bonus. There were a few areas that could use some attention. The living room windows were very dirty, with significant buildup that made it difficult to clearly see the pool or porch area. The kitchen could also have used a more thorough cleaning.During our 11-day stay, it also would have been nice to have the pool cleaned at least once. With all of the trees surrounding the property, leaves and other debris were constantly falling into the pool, and we found ourselves cleaning it multiple times a day.
