Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood- had to drive to beach - but no big deal!! Kitchen was well stocked so if you wanted to cook and forgot something- it was there! Very tastefully decorated - loved the front porch!

Thank you so much, Susan! I am thrilled you loved our historic 1920s charm, the tasteful decor, and our relaxing front porch. I take great pride in fully stocking the kitchen so my guests truly want for nothing during their stay. As you mentioned, we love that our quiet residential street keeps us just a quick, convenient 5-minute drive from the beach while offering a peaceful retreat to return to. You were a wonderful guest, and you are welcome back anytime! Sheryl 💙

This property is beautifully redone. There are little touches that are so thoughtful. A sound machine, coffee bar, chargers for phones, etc. The neighborhood did not necessarily match this beautiful home and the basement lights being on the whole time we were there concerned my husband a bit. Our second night there there was a lot of screaming going on outside of the house which caused me to not be able to sleep. The property itself was absolutely perfect.

Can’t even begin to say enough great things about this property and the hosts! We had a fabulous 40th birthday celebration for me and my friend. The location is perfect for getting around to shops and the beach. The home is well stocked and super clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable and checkout was a breeze! The location itself is by the train tracks but we barely heard a rumble when they went by. The neighborhood was also very quiet. We are already looking forward to coming again!

Loved our stay! Only thing I scored 4 was because it’s even better than the pictures! There’s a cozy outdoor seating, beautiful bookshelves completely stocked full and cute bedding in the rooms. The beds are so comfortable and the new appliances in the kitchen were lovely! Worked great for our antiquing trip to Michigan City.

Perfect location

My husband and I were looking for a place along the southern shore of Lake Michigan while our daughter was at a camp in South Bend. This was a perfect location, close to clean beaches, Indiana Dunes, lots of great farmers markets in New Buffalo, excellent restaurant choices and a great week away. Would definitely love to come back.
