Cozy family home right near Yosemite!

Your family will be in the heart of town at this centrally-located home. Conveniently walking distance to markets and restaurant's, and only 15 miles from the south gate of Yosemite. Don't forget about beautiful Bass Lake. A 15 minute drive. Great food and activities.
Our house is private with lots of space. Front and back yard are beautiful. The deck in the front is perfect for drinking your coffee or sipping your wine. The backyard provides you with a relaxing area to BBQ and enjoy your family. So peaceful .
The kitchen has everything you could need from the smallest to the largest meals.

You have access to the whole house.

Laundry room available for guest that stay 5 days or longer, or an extra fee.

We have a bassinet, booster chair, toddler cot, plates and utensils.

Would recommend for those planning an adventure to Yosemite!Had a fantastic stay in this cozy home! Everything was really straight forward, place was simple to find, hosts were communicative, and we felt it really added to our trip to Yosemite!If you plan on going to Yosemite this place is a good launching point, while still being both comfortable and affordable.

Everything you need, this cozy house has it. We loved everything and the host. We can’t wait to come back. It’s close to many grocery stores and good food places. It’s very close to Yosemite national park, about 40 minutes away.

Our family had a wonderful last minute stay at this cozy family home! The pictures don’t do this home justice. It’s beautiful and so conveniently located 25 min away from Yosemite’s entrance! On top of that, the host was incredibly accommodating, kind, and responsive! We would highly recommend this home!

The whole home was very clean and welcoming. Host offered several additional amenities. Very quiet and comfortable neighborhood. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This property was clean and cozy! It was the perfect size for the 5 (4 adults and an infant) of us with extra room. Our 8 month old grandson loved zooming across the deck in his walker. It’s in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this lovely place in Oakhurst, CA. This home was very clean and cozy. We were so comfortable here that we skipped some items on our 8 day itinerary to stay in. It's located in an open area where deer and turkeys roam free, yet close enough to recreation, grocery, shopping and restaurants. I appreciate the communication and responsiveness from the owners. It's clear that they care about their guests.

Good stay for a family of 4

The home is centrally located in Oakhurst, minutes from grocery stores and restaurants, about 40 min to Zephyr for white water rafting, 15ish minutes to Bass Lake and about 35ish min to the Yosemite park entrance gates. Property was as described and pictured. The listing has some photos of deer on the property and that’s accurate too…there were two in the yard when we first drove up. We didn’t spend much time in the home outside of getting ready to leave and getting ready to sleep but I would recommend the home as a perfect base camp for a trip that should be spent at the attractions. The home is a good bang for the buck with nice hosts.

My whole family of 6, including 4 generations, enjoyed staying at this very clean, cozy home that had all we needed inside and out. We had dinner outside in the back yard where they had a nice table for all of us. And we saw several deer including in the evening and morning.

Beautiful place

We were driving back to LA from Lake Tahoe via Yosemite and stopped at Oakhurst for two nights and were so pleasantly surprised to find this perfect place to stay.The house is beautiful, the whole area around it feels peaceful and lovely, and the thing is you are a block and a half away from Oakhurst's main street so there's restaurants, supermarkets, drugstores, etc. right handy, but the moment you turn the corner into the neighborhood, you are in another world, it's like if you were up in the mountains. So convenient!There are lots of comfortable seating all over the place, the beds are great, bathrooms are too. The kitchen has everything you need, including some foodstuffs, and everything is spotlessly clean.We had a great time there.We go to Yosemite every year and stay in the park, but we might just make this a regular stop (as long as the house is available) because it was very nice to drive home to LA from Oakhurst, instead of from Yosemite Valley and this place is so nice, you just need to sit in the backyard and you know you are on vacation.As for the hosts, they were perfectly responsive, which is golden, and you simply cannot beat the Welcoming Committee. I warmly recommend this place.

Nice little home

Wonderful place to stay!

Family stay for Christmas we enjoyed the stay the house is beautiful well equipped and in a great location what a wonderful time we had and host is greattt very helpful, kind and quickly responsive. You will love this cozy comforting stay. We hope to stay again sometime soon! A Thank you both for this wonderful experience!

Wonderful retreat

This property was secluded, spacious inside. Very clean. Best part was that it accommodated my mom's needs for her to get in the home from the car. She has severe mobility issues and the fact that there were no stairs was a blessing. Bonus encounter of a deer eating in the back yard. We came for a place to stay overnight after my nephews wedding. Can't wait to come back and enjoy the activities and a drive to Yosemite, Bass Lake and other quaint small town things to do.

Cozy home base for exploring Yosemite

We had a lovely 2 nights stay. The house was very clean, comfortable and cozy - perfect for coming back to after a hike in Yosemite and chilling out. We had everything we needed to cook a simple meal. Our host helped us set up a twin cot and checked in on us when the power went out in the neighborhood temporarily. Would stay here again.

Perfect for a family trip to Yosemite

We flew out from Florida, and met up with our friends who live in Monterey CA. The house was perfect for us with our younger kids! There’s plenty of space and all the amenities you’d want! The location is very central in oakhurst, it’s about a 25 min drive to the entrance of Yosemite! We loved our time and would definitely stay again if we come back to Yosemite!

Quiet, clean, cozy home

Stayed here on the way back from camping in Yosemite. House was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a nice dinner, and two grocery stores were a short drive away. The space was a little dark, but also nice to keep out the sun during the middle of a summer heatwave. We all slept well and got a fresh start in the morning.

Oakhurst Cozy Family Home

Gary and Kimberly’s place is fantastic! Beautiful setting, great location in Oakhurst, close to Yosemite and Bass Lake. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a beautiful and well furnished place to stay. The facilities were great, and it was like a home away from home, and in some ways even better. We were all impressed at the thoughtfulness that went into making it such a pleasant place for guests. Nothing but kudos for this cozy family home. Highly recommended!
