The Sterling Palm is a semi-oceanfront home steps away from the beautiful Nags Head beach. Brand new updated kitchen with granite counter tops- pictures to come! Start your mornings off watching the sun rise on the top balcony with unobstructed ocean views. Located directly across from the ocean. There are numerous deck options for sunbathing, watching the ocean from the top deck, or shaded area on the lower deck. Plenty of area to spread out and relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.

This 4 bedroom 3 bathroom Nags Head vacation rental home is perfect for the group that wants to spend some time by the ocean. Located in Nags Head, and just minutes from the Nags Head Outlet Mall, restaurants, Golf (miniature golf as well), Wright Brothers Memorial, Jockeys Ridge, and so much more.

This Nags Head home provides a spacious layout with multiple living areas and numerous bedrooms to accommodate a variety of family sizes.

Top Level:
The master suite on the top level equipped with a queen bed has an in suite full size bathroom. Located on the top level to provide privacy from the lower level.
Fully equipped kitchen comes stocked with cookware, dishes, coffee maker, utensils, etc
Living room and dining area to seat 8 people.
High chair and children cups/plates/utensils provided.
Lower Level:
The second master suite with a king bed and full size in suite bathroom is located on the lower level.
Two additional bedrooms (one queen and two twin beds) and a full size bathroom also are located on this level. A second living room with a couch, TV, and games are also on this level. A pack and play and infant bath is also available for the ease of travel with young children.

Family trip to OBX

Property was just as listed, owner was very responsive to questions on check-in and check-out processes. Location was perfect to explore the OBX and appreciated how comfortable the beds and living room furniture was for our group of 7. Thanks!

Great location!

Perfect location right across from the beach and walking distance to Jockey's Ridge Park. We were a total of 3 couples and two singles and the house was Perfect including the number of bathroom and all amenities. The host was great in communication and accommodation. We all loved it, ages 21 to 80 and will hopefully be back!

Comfortable and Relaxing Stay!

We were a family of five with kids ages 16-22 who had a wonderful stay at Sterling Palm! The beds were comfortable, great shower water pressure, and the family room had plenty of space with a comfortable couch. There is no building blocking your view to the ocean, so you can sit on the porch and have a beautiful view! The location is perfect and near Jockey’s Ridge, a family favorite. The cottage was super clean and Jenna easily reachable if we needed her. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Great Location

We enjoyed the home, the location was perfect! Rooms were good sized, and having a living room for adults with another for the kiddo's was ideal. The primary bedroom being on the top floor, all others a floor below, was nice as well. The only issues that we had were with the lack of towels (none in primary) and the limited cooking tools (no baking sheets).

Perfect Location

We experienced brilliant sunrises from the balcony while enjoying our morning coffee. The location was perfect for our needs. Daily trips to the beach were easy to walk. However, we discovered it was much easier to transport beach equipment in our vehicle and unload and then return the vehicle to the property. The walk was very short to public access, maybe a block. Overall fantastic trip!

Lovely stay. Much to enjoy. Very comfortable.

Clean and comfortable. Needed light bulbs. Bar b que no longer functional. Broken plastic planter moved to trash. Beach chairs and skid boards much appreciated. Ground floor bathroom doors are unsightly. Great location! Ty!

More than words can say…!!!

The owner and the property is literally more than words can say!!! My mother and I said the whole time, “there’s really nothing we needed to bring.” It has everything! The view is more than described. We enjoyed most sunsets on the second balcony watching the children dance, sharing stories and watching the ocean view. They are no longer children! Every question was answered quickly and with no hesitation. All six of us agreed, we can’t wait to come back next year! Cleanliness, towels on bed, beach towels in each room, new kitchen…and we were literally two miles from most everything! We can’t say enough and the owner was literally the cherry on top for my numerous questions ! Enjoy your stay as we did!

Family Wedding

This property changed ownership roughly one week before our stay. Little confusion at first but former & new owners stayed in contact, and everything worked out well. Our stay was over Mother's Day and the owners had a small cake & flowers deliver. Nice touch and much appreciated. The interior was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The new owner probably had not had an opportunity to put their personal touch on the property, but I expect a few updates will be made. Not a big deal but suggest that better instructions for upstairs & downstairs TV / Cable systems be prepared. We enjoyed the stay and would stay here again.

Great location for a first stay in OBX

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Sterling Palms. The beach is a 4 min walk from the house to get to the public access point. The semi-oceanfront view from the top porch is really nice. We spent many mornings with a cup of coffee, watching the ocean and enjoying the breeze. Other nearby sites like Jockey Ridge State Park and Wright Brothers Memorial are just a short drive. Communication with the new hosts was great, no issues there. The negative was that the house wasn't very clean. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets, the floors were not clean in places, clean beds had sand in them, no hand soap in some bathrooms, and there was no back up toilet paper other than what was on the roll, some of which was just about out. That is probably more on the cleaning staff than the hosts, but hopefully that can be improved.

Absolutely amazing

We wanted to do a family vacation to the outer banks.This house was a good size for our family.The host was absolutely excellent with communication and everything else.The house was extremely clean.Well maintained, we will definitely be staying here again.Absolutely highly recommended. Extremely quick walk to private beach access, very central shopping restaurants etc. 5 stars all around!!!

We have grown to fall in love with the Outer Banks over the last few years. Nags Head has become a favorite place for us to visit with our family. There are endless activities such as mini golf, restaurants, shopping, go carts, fishing (Pirates Cove Marina 10 min drive), beach days, etc all within minutes. The Wright Brothers National Memorial and Jockeys Ridge are within a 10 minute drive, the Cape Hatteras light house is 1 hour away, Duck is 30 minute drive to many restaurants and shopping, etc

We love the ocean views just right through the living room windows. Walk out the top deck to beautiful ocean views. Imagine watching the sunrise and sunset while the ocean breeze drifts through the air! The views are unmatched! This property is set up for all family sizes and ages.

We aim to accommodate all families either smaller or larger. For ease of travel with young children we have a pack and play, high chair, children’s kitchen utensils, etc.

Also provided are shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Bed linens, towels, and beach towels are all freshly laundered between each guest.
