Ocean House 2904 2 bedroom 2 bath gulf-front condo

Ocean House #2904 is an interior gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium located on the 9th floor in building II overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1000 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are 2 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or a stand-alone shower. The gulf-side master bathroom (King) is accessed via the bedroom and hallway. The street-side bedroom (Queen) has an attached bathroom with a stand-up shower. Sofa Sleeper in living room.

Ocean House I and II are 9-story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Ocean House has a large seasonal zero-entry outdoor pool and a small kiddie pool. The property also has a grilling area that services buildings I and II. Minimum age required: 23. King, Queen, Sofa Sleeper. Sleeps 6.

Parking passes are purchased on-site at Ocean House at the guard house or office in building I - CASH ONLY. There is a maximum of 2 parking passes per unit and the cost is set by the association and is subject to change at any time without notice.

STAY AND PLAY

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Loved loved loved this condo! Amazing views from the balcony. Plenty of room for my family of four to spread out. Nice to have washer and dryer in the condo to use. Movies, games, comfortable furniture all a big plus! Also had use of beach chairs which was a bonus! Walking distance or convenience store and awesome coffee shop as well. The best part: I mistakenly left several shirts in a drawer in the dresser and when I reached out the next day after checkout hundreds of miles away the management and cleaning crew were able to locate them and ship them to my home, which I appreciate more than they know! I would recommend this place and stay here again in a heartbeat!

Ocean View Condo #2904

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was a good size and the ocean view was spectacular. However, the wi-fi was extremely slow! The living room couch and chairs were not the most comfortable. The master bed was not very comfortable either. While we were there we had issues with both toilets running constantly and the oven door hand came off in my hand. We had to have maintenance come. They were attentive and handled the issues in a reasonable time frame. We typically vacation in Destin, FL and had been to Gulf Shores many years ago so wanted to go back and see how it has changed in comparison. In Destin, FL 2 very nice beach loungers and an umbrella are included with most all condo rentals, the parking is part of the condo rental fee as well in Destin and the condos have soap, shampoo, dishwasher tablets, TP, paper towels, etc. for the week rental in Destin. Chairs and an umbrella alone for the week in Gulf Shores was an additional $250 which is absolutely ridiculous!!! In addition, you have to pay $30 to park on their parking lot after paying a pretty hefty rental fee. I hate being nickeled and dimed!!!
