Charming, clean cottage with ALL the amenities and hosts are super nice and attentive.
Christmas decorations were up for the holidays
Little Christmas decorations all over
There were even Christmas decorations in the kitchen (full of fruit before we ate some, along with a coffee cake, and drinks in the frig)

The cottage was quaint. It was the best supplied one we ever stayed in. It was very clean. The location was perfect to explore Newport, Jamestown, Providence, all the beaches etc. The best part was the hosts Ruth and Kenneth went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. When one of the 3 tvs wasn’t working he brought one of his own over to replace it. We highly recommend staying at the cottage .

Comfortable Cottage in great location

Ruth and Kenny are great hosts; very friendly and kind but also very mindful about leaving us to our privacy and space. The grounds are pretty and the cottage is homey, clean, and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would re-book if we visit the area again.

By far the top hotel/B&B on our family Northeastern USA Road Trip. The Allen's are exceptional hosts who have thought of your every need. The location is a short drive to Newport with wonderful small villages as you cross two islands to reach Newport. My British daughter felt like she was living in a real Cape Cod bungalow for our 3 nights which was a great beginning for our trip. Don't pass up staying at "Cora's Cottage" if you're visiting the Newport or Providence area.

Charming property, Great Hosts & Location

We loved our stay with Kenny and Ruth. They are lovely hosts and the cottage is so cute and clean, and incredible history of the cottage construction by Kenny's grandfather. We found the cottage centrally located for all our interests, close to the bike path and Calf Pasture Beach, Audubon centers, and nature trails. Would definitely stay here again :)

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Cora's Cottage. It was comfortable, cozy, and relaxing there. Our hosts were more that gracious in attending to our needs. Ruth and Ken made our stay memorable. Thank you to both of them

Great stay at Cora’s Cottage

Comfortable and clean. The 4 of us had a great time in Rhode Island. This home has everything you need and the hosts go beyond to make you comfortable. It’s a small house with room for all. Thank you Ruth and Kenny.

Cora’s Cottage

Cora’s Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The home has everything you might need to include a screened in porch and a large backyard. The property is centrally located in Rhode Island and close to beaches. Kenny and Ruth live next door and are the best property managers and neighbors you could ever have. They are both very communicative and ensure that you have everything you need every step of the way…to include going above and beyond by providing a small continental breakfast and coffee for your first morning and veggies from their garden if in season. We loved the home and Ruth and Kenny so much we came back for a second stay! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful experience at a cozy, coastal inspired cottage

We arrived early and contacted our host to ask if we could check in early. She gladly accommodated our request and welcomed us an hour early. When we checked in, we found a eat off the floor clean house with fast working internet, multiple televisions, a fully stocked bathroom, complete with many towels, face cloths, soap, Q Tips, masks, makeup removers. There was everything and anything one could think of! The kitchen had coffee, muffins and orange juice so we did not have to rush out to buy anything for morning one upon arriving to the property. And there was plenty of ice in the freezer. Beds are very comfortable. Furniture is better quality than you would find in a hotel. The yard is large and very private. Our dog loved running around and fetching his ball in the back yard. The hosts are super nice people, which made our stay very special. I would highly recommend this property to an individual, a couple or a small family. I don't think you could be disappointed staying here.

Cora’s Cottage is the nicest rental home with the most wonderful hosts - Ruth & Kenny - who are friendly, kind and just delightful. Cora’s Cottage is very clean, and well supplied with most anything you could need during your stay. We felt immediately “at home” - comfortable and safe. We appreciated that the home is dog-friendly - our dog loved the backyard and front porch, and we did too! Our only regret is that we could not stay longer - but we hope to return!

The cottage was so perfect. Ruth and Kenny were amazing hosts, so thoughtful, kind, and engaging. Everything from communication, offering early checkin, cleanliness, a continental breakfast, a tour of their beautiful garden. So great. We loved the space. You can feel the love of a house built by family for family. The kitchen had everything you need and when my son wanted to make muffins and we couldn’t find a muffin pan, Ruth was over in a minute to provide it. I would go back anytime. Highly recommend this cottage, a visit to RI and meeting Ruth and Kenny.
