We couldn't have asked for a better location. The grounds are lovely and the condo is well equipped and comfortable. We had one issue with birds on the balcony but it was quickly resolved when I reached out to Christine. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful condo that had everything you needed. Close to stores and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets ever night.

Property was exactly (or better) than advertised! Lanai overlooks the ocean and made for the perfect home base for our vacation!

Your place was amazing and perfect. The only thing I would like is to have the downstairs bedroom to have AC in it as well but we were able to channel the cool air with the fans. I loved your place. Thank you for letting us stay there.

This condo was perfect for my family of 5 (including 3 teens) and I would absolutely rent this unit again if we return. Beyond being so clean and having everything we could possibly need (sun hats, beach chairs and umbrellas, a sand-wheeled wagon to haul it all), backup toiletries like sunscreen and aloe gel, boogie boards, binoculars to watch the sea turtles and dolphins from the lanai, putters and balls for the on-property greens, and on and on), the resort itself was also clean, lovely, and well kept. The beach was very easy to access (which I couldn’t quite tell from the pictures). There were groceries, food trucks, and restaurants within very short walking distance. We knew from other reviews to expect the guest room was warm, and the host has 4 fans just in that room alone to help. My daughter (who sleeps at home in a room set to 64) says she slept well and was not hot amidst the direct air blowing on her. The other bedrooms were comfortable with the AC units many provided fans. Christine was a wonderful host and I am so grateful that I booked this home for our first (but definitely not last!) Hawaiian experience.

The location is phenomenal- walk to food trucks, restaurants, grocery and bars/ restaurants. Great views for whale watching in season. Important to me- comfy beds and great showers. Super clean in condo and on grounds.

If you like the sound of waves then this is the place for you. Awesome views from the balcony. Great place with lot's of space and a loft for the kids.

Excellent property, location & host. 5 of us stayed in Papakea #F406 for 9 nights Sept 2026 & there was plenty of space. The condo is RIGHT ON THE WATER… can’t get any closer. Sunset views on lanai are amazing! Condo located between both pools & spas and there’s an elevator. Walk to either pool is less than 1 min. Parking lot is 2-3 min walk and there are food trucks, restaurants, small shops & Times Market in 5 minute walk. Upstairs loft has 2 twin beds, a full bath and AC. 2 bedrooms downstairs, one with en suite full bath & the other w/separate full bath. Only 1 room downstairs has AC so the room w/out AC was a little warm but host brought another fan and it was fine. The 2 AC’s kept the entire condo cool during hot season.Kitchen is well stocked w/plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, baking trays, dish soap & dishwasher detergent. Previous guests left spices (salt, pepper, etc). . We cooked every day and had all we needed.Closets had boogie boards, pool noodles, sand toys, beach towels, beach chairs, puzzles & board games. Washer & dryer had laundry soap & dryer sheets. Previous guests left sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. Hold off buying until you see what’s there. Only TV is in living room.We didn’t get to test beach at Papakea but people were in water every day. Drive to Black Rock or other beaches in less than 10 min. Host Christine is super responsive. Communication before & during stay were perfect. Highly recommend!!

Amazing view for two weeks!

We spent two weeks in this 3br/3ba unit- what an amazing view! We had a tiny glitch at check-in where they gave us key cards instead of the door code but it was quickly remedied with a quick walk down to the lobby who called property management and got the code. Condo was well stocked with all the basics in the kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of beach towels and a couple beach chairs and coolers were provided. Beds and bedding were comfortable. There were a few negatives - but little if any impact on our stay- more personal preferences- the place is a little dark. If you do your makeup in the master bath you really need to bring a makeup mirror along. It’s a little outdated, but that’s a style comment versus a maintenance comment! The only two real cons are thar toilet upstairs runs loudly for several minutes after use and is heard throughout the unit, and the clothes washer is very loud during use. Everything else was thumbs up and we had a great stay!

Place was oceanfront and had beautiful views … close to a lot of places… place was very clean only downside was bedroom to the right of the front door was very hot with no AC but other than that a good place
