We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is within walking distance of the beach. The cottage was clean and comfortable.

Our family had an amazing week at this cottage. The location is right by the private beach which we enjoyed very much. The kitchen is spacious and had all the tools to make great meals. We spent rainy days watching movies and playing games. Thank you for a great week.

Location to beach is only minutes away. Beach is amazing, shallow and sandy. Area was fantastic for taking long walks, jogging or biking. Lots of trails that provide easy access to beach. The home was clean, spacious and has everything you need and more. Loved waking up and walking into the lovely open family space, very relaxing. Our granddaughter had the time of her life!

This would have been a 5-star rating but there were a few minor irritants.Noisy bed springs, broken toilet flush handle, cooktop needed cleaning (which I did and it sparkles now) :).That said, everyone simply loved the house, the location (walk to beach and next to Grand Bend), very quiet tree-covered surroundings, well-provisioned kitchen, spacious dining/living area, connected decks outside.We would certainly consider returning.

Great cottage, excellent location!

The cottage was very clean and we made sure to leave it the same way. The location is also excellent as it provides access to nearby beach. Overall we all enjoyed the stay. Will surely visit again.

It is a lovely house with easy access to the beach. Lots of room for families/groups to spread out and a big table to bring everyone together for meals. The quality of some of the mattresses was poor.

The property was beautiful. The communication with the host was quick and easy. The bedrooms were big and fit all 10 of our family easily. The beach was only a quick walk away. We did need to buy some cleaning supplies, toilet paper and paper towel. Pretty happy over all.

Family wedding stay

The property was very spacious, well appointed, and it had close access to a great private beach. It was very convenient as it was close to Grand Bend and to Zurich where our family wedding took place. Overall it was clean, but we had an issue with large black ants in the lower level which prevented us from enjoying the property to its fullest extent.

The house is beautiful, and comfortable, with top notch appliances, and a really well equipped kitchen. The beach is gorgeous and truly only 3 minutes away. Perfect for walking, swimming, and viewing the most amazing sunsets. The hot tub was hot, although we wished it was in a different location. The lighting was wonderful, and I loved the furniture and the artwork. There were slight details that weren't perfect, but overall the place is fantastic and I would go back. Very close to Grand Bend, shopping, the Pinery. The neighbourhood is quiet and full of beautiful mature trees, lovely for walking or biking, and very quiet.

Home away from home

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful weekend away. We had lots of fun filled with laughter and more great memories were made. The property inside is a nice open space with kitchen, dining and livingroom together overlooking a huge deck. The bedrooms were nice and spacious - 3 upstairs and one in the basement with another really nice sitting area. It was nice and clean and any questions we had were answered right away. The beautiful beach was a very short walk up the road. It was a nice home away from home. I would recommend this property for any family or friends wanting to plan a mini vacay.

Beautiful home in an even more beautiful location. Loved the easy access to the beach along with the quiet of the wooded neighborhood. Close enough to the businesses in Grand Bend to walk for necessities or just casual shopping. Kitchen was well supplied with appliances and service ware/utensils. The open floor plan was great for group to visit and enjoy time together. Great private back deck. Rooms were very clean and comfortable but mattresses were a bit on the older worn side. Tried to contact the host with a few questions but didn't receive a reply. We were making plans before we even left to make this our annual Fall girls getaway location.

The house inside was pretty much as advertised, we were disappointed with the hot tub, as it was located under the deck, and very awkward to use, so we didn’t. I think in future we’d be a little more cautious before booking, such as looking for a home that provided sheets and towels. It’s an inconvenience to bring your own and have to make beds on arrival. We’ve never needed to do this at any other rental.The house was very large and could accommodate a big group, certainly a plus for some. The close proximity to the beach was a major bonus.The kitchen was well equipped with very nice high end appliances.
