Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. It was my husband, myself, and my son and his wife and 4 grandchildren. This is the second time we have stayed at this house and they were excited to be going back to it. I would appreciate a few more rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and more hand towels.

Perfect house for our family reunion! Plenty of space for everyone to gather, and the close proximity to beach and town ensured there was always fun things to do outdoors. Well equipped kitchen, and the three full bathrooms were handy. One thing to be aware of; the steep staircase to the upper three bedrooms may be a challenge for elderly or those with mobility issues. Would absolutely rent this place again for a group gathering!

Best rental! It is close to both the ocean and town which was great with 2 small children. The house was beautiful, large and well equipped. Best kitchen ever with lots of counter space and kitchen dishes, and appliances. I was super impressed. The gas fireplace was a hit and enjoyed often. Having the tv in a separate room encouraged family visiting and game time! With 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 down, the 2 families had their own sleep spaces Will rent this again

Cozy home in one of our favorite places

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Cannon Beach and renting from CBPM for 30+ years. The McRae House is in the perfect location, close to the beach and close to shops, in a nice neighborhood. The house is comfortable for two couples and adult children who visit throughout the week. The one concern is the steepness of the stairs--just have to slow down as we descend from upstairs.

We had an absolutely wonderful time istaying at the McRae house. It is conveniently located a short block from the beach and also a short block from the darling shops in the town of Cannon Beach. On rainy days, the house is SO cozy with a fireplace and comfy, adorable furnishings. We had fun playing the games and doing puzzles stocked in the home for guests to use. Everything we could have wanted or needed was available in the home. The management company called the day before we arrived and made sure we knew they were available and just a call away if anything was needed. You’ll love this home and location for a great family vacation.

McRae Home Away from Home

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this house. The location is outstanding - beach and town access is unmatchable. It's roomy - we especially enjoy the two big tables. We use one for meals and the other for puzzles and games. We can all gather in the living room without crowding and there is room in the kitchen for multiple cooks. We appreciate the beach towels, large number of games and puzzles available for guests. The kitchen is extremely well supplied for cooking for large and small groups - every pot, pan, bowl, utensil you could possibly need. The home's decor is dated and we love it that way. We can be comfortable and cozy without fussing and worrying. Beds are comfy and three bathrooms are a boon for our crew. Only complaint this year was that there was a small but persistent infestation of sugar ants and the property management company was not responsive (to our knowledge). The phone was not answered - message only, and the three times we stopped by the office, no one was there and no notes were left indicating return times. This is a change from years past when the company was available and readily responsive. Might have just been an overly busy week for them.
